My cat has had recurring problems with bladder stones and urinary cystitis. The issue has been that she is an incredibly picky eater. It was a battle to find a food she would eat. Most of the urinary foods I tried she wouldn't even look at. She would rather starve herself, no joke. I had her on a non-urinary food for a while but then she had another bout of cystitis so I finally tried this Royal Canin food. I was genuinely so surprised she ate it. This is the pickiest cat I've ever met but she seems to really like this food. I am so happy that I've finally found a urinary support food she'll eat. It hasn't been long enough for me to determine if it will help her urinary issues since she's only been eating it for about two weeks, but I'm cautiously optimistic. My main negative is that the cost of this food is ridiculous... luckily only one of my cats needs it, but the price is excessive. I'll keep buying it simply because it's the only urinary support food my cat will eat, but it's a major cost... ... show more

1. My cat loves it! 2. Cat had urinary infection problems. Since we have been feeding her with this food she has been completely healthy. 3. Expensive but well worth it. Spent $2000 in vet bills for UTI. Haven’t had to go to vet since feeding her this food. So in the long run we save tons of money.

I started using this when my vet refused to write the script for the prescription version. It isn't quite as good as the Rx Royal Canin, different formulation I presume, but it works well enough. My boy came with Interstitial Cystitis so he needs special care forever. I pair this food with D-mannose treats for kitties and he's doing very well. I have two male cats. One has experienced urinary issues in the past and the vet recommended food to promote urinary health. Royal Canin was the first food I tried and it’s been a success! It’s helped my cat with his issues and I feed it to my other one to support his health as well. They eat another brand of dry food that I have out for my two girls but prefer this every time.
