Description

Looking to obtain the iconic ROUSH exhaust sound for your F-150, but want a more “OEM” look? Some great quality features of this exhaust are: The muffler, inlet, outlet, and y-pipes are made from high-quality 409 stainless steel to prevent corrosion and enhance durability. The tips are constructed of high- quality 304 stainless steel that have been chrome-flashed for superior corrosion resistance and durability, and are embossed with the ROUSH logo, which exit out of the side of the vehicle. The piping in this system is 3” in diameter, which is all mandrel-bent to promote consistent flow throughout. Other companies tend to crimp-bend their exhaust, which can cause restrictions and inconsistent flow. This exhaust kit is designed to work on all cab and bed configurations for the 2011-2014 5.0L, 6.2L (including SVT Raptor), & 3.5L F-150s. This includes the XL, STX, XLT, FX2, FX4, Lariat, King Ranch, SVT Raptor, Limited, SuperCrew, SuperCab, and Regular Cab models. Please note that for 2011-2014 6.2L Platinum and Harley Davidson edition F-150s, modification to the factory exhaust flange will be required. ROUSH obtains its iconic aggressive sound on this system by deleting the restrictive factory resonator, and implementing a canister-style muffler with 3” exhaust piping.

  • Everything as expected
I had been looking at this exhaust for awhile. When I decided to purchase it, I found it on Amazon from this seller for well over $100 cheaper. Delivery was estimated at 7 days, I received it in 2. The package did not come with formal instructions, instead it came with a website to go to. I didn’t use the instructions as it was pretty simple to install this exhaust after removing the original. This Roush exhaust sounds great on my 2014 F-150 w/ a 5.0. ... show more

  • Overall Quality Product
Install was pretty straight forward and didn’t take very long at all if you have some sense of ability doing something like that. The only somewhat challenging aspect of having to make a cut in the exhaust to fit your Specific vehicle was almost scary how easily my saw went through the steel. You will have to own some sort of saw or grinder etc. to make that cut which can add more money one has to spend in order to get in installed. As far as results after install - It’s much louder than the stock exhaust. At times it makes strange noises when you get in the throttle. Almost a backfiring like popping noise which isn’t exactly desirable in my opinion. Has a pretty nice throaty tone to it overall. The price in my opinion is way to high for what the makeup of the product actual is. I think all cat back systems are over priced though as they are just essentially thin tubes of steel welded into different angles. Can’t imagine the profit involved when it comes to price to make vs. retail cost. ... show more

  • Good product. Very easy to install
Good product. Very easy to install. Instructions are on the money and easy to follow. Took about 2 hours with tear out of old exhaust and reinstallation of new. And for the record I am not a handy man when it comes to this stuff by no means. Only 4 star because the sound is a little sportier than I would like. I was going for the deep jacked up truck sound and only got part way there. The one good note is when at highway speeds it is quiet as the stock pipes where. Noticed Horse power difference right out the gate. But if you are trying for the deep truck sound this isn't it. It is a cross between sporty and deep. I would say more sporty. Still trying to get use to it. ... show more

  • Roush quality
Great sound, easy install with the right tools , I looked at Roush exhaust for a year before just saying buy it. Glad I did . Some reviews complain about in cab drone ,not really the case here sounds like exhaust should, not kackling and popping. Nice mellow tone at ildle and normal acceleration, aggressive sound with a heavy hoof . Very solid when installed and finish is good, welds and so on. Some tips for installation= raise the rear of truck at least 12 to 16 inches slide a couple jack stands under the rear axle tubes. This will help you remove the existing outlet pipe over the rear axle. From there just follow the instructions and you'll have it done in no time ... show more

  • I have heard some people complain about in cab drone ...
I have heard some people complain about in cab drone. I don't seem to have that problem. I took my 2013 raptor to a muffler shop to have it installed. I did not use the clamps that came with the kit I had them weld the piping together. They also had to cut my old flange off the stock exhaust because the one provides was too small. At 80 MPH there is only a little in cab noise but nothing I can't overcome with a little turn of the radio. Accelerating with this system on produces a loud aggressive roar but dies down as soon as my raptor shifts into a higher gear. I also have the Roush cold air intake for my truck as well and don't know if that plays a part in the no drone or if it's because I had it welded or a combination of the the two. ... show more

  • Might be late or not even come
Been trying to order this exhaust since November of 2020. I ended up ordering it 4 times. First two times it never even shipped. 3rd time it got “lost” and and I finally got it March 17 2021. Other then that. Really love the sound. You can definitely tell the difference
