Horrible fit and sound. The pipe hits the middle support in under the seats and rubs plus the pipe hits the coil spring. Had adjusted and still vibrates and has surface rust all over already.

Bought this for my 2009 Civic EX coupe. Sounds good not loud as the Skunk2 catback exhaust. Just the way i like it. It has a deep toned and some pops. Installation was a pain. Needs modification bending the pipe before the resonator and tilting it for the right angle because if you dont do it the angle is going to be hella weird and off. The exhaust angle is crooked not centered i have to cut all the hangers with my grinder because they were not aligned to the original exhaust hangers it was off about 4-5 inches. After cutting all of the hangers i welded it to the right position. After modifications, was able to aligned it the way i wanted it and looks and sounded grate. In my opinion if you dont have the tools or equipments to do modifications if you ask me honestly, I’d say just buy you the skunk2 catback or lnvidia cutback exhaust since theyre guaranteed to fit like plug and play depending if you have the coupe or sedan. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I honestly knew I was really setting myself up for disaster when I decided to do an exhaust mod on my 2008 Honda Civic EX, but curiosity really got the better of me with this one. I looked up a youtube video of different exhaust kits that could be mounted to an 8th gen Civic SI and I picked out the sound that I liked the best which was the DNA Motoring exhaust. I was a little dismayed to see what I thought was a fart can, but I was blown away when I put it on and started the car up. This exhaust doesn't really make your car much louder like a Skunk2 exhaust would, however, it will lower the pitch considerably. The exhaust fit on my 2008 Honda Civic EX Coupe, however, check the metal exhaust channel under the car when installing it. The pipe needs to be warped a bit to keep from melting the surrounding plastic and the metal channel will rattle against the exhaust pipe if the channel is bent at all before installing the pipe. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase and I would recommend it! ... show more

Stock studs were a bit tricky to make it work with the aftermarket flange but if you have a drill and patience you can bore out the holes so they can line up better to bolt it on. Definitely remove the silencer to get that deeper tone. If you’re lowered your pipe is gonna be scraping and slapping the ground like crazy. Slight back fires and crackles. But other than that good bang for your buck. ... show more
