Bought this for my 2009 Civic EX coupe. Sounds good not loud as the Skunk2 catback exhaust. Just the way i like it. It has a deep toned and some pops. Installation was a pain. Needs modification bending the pipe before the resonator and tilting it for the right angle because if you dont do it the angle is going to be hella weird and off. The exhaust angle is crooked not centered i have to cut all the hangers with my grinder because they were not aligned to the original exhaust hangers it was off about 4-5 inches. After cutting all of the hangers i welded it to the right position. After modifications, was able to aligned it the way i wanted it and looks and sounded grate. In my opinion if you dont have the tools or equipments to do modifications if you ask me honestly, I’d say just buy you the skunk2 catback or lnvidia cutback exhaust since theyre guaranteed to fit like plug and play depending if you have the coupe or sedan. ... show more

Fits well on 2006 DX coupe just be prepared to drill out the studs on your downpipe unless you are lucky and they don't snap or strip. Some people stated that you can use a torch and knock it out with an air hammer but others have also stated that they had no luck. this took me lots of trips to the home depot and buying cobalt drill bits and using a center punch to finally put in some 3/16 bolts, make sure they are grade 8 and can withstand high temps.. Be sure to also tighten the long pipe and the axle pipe before tying to get it on the down pipe (3 bolts). otherwise you will kick yourself later because it will be impossible to get the gasket it lined up perfectly. Also I recommend getting new rubber hangers because currently the exhaust is rattling on the heatshield/suspension because the hangers have too much give and muffler hangs slightly lower than I want. As far as performance it is LOUD. So loud I decided to actually use the silencer for now because I don't want to be obnoxious to the neighbors. It also burbles and pops which is nice. As far as quality- its definitely thin and I'm not sure how it will hold up over time My recommendation- just take it to the shop if you don't have a lift or extra tools such as torch, punch, drill bits, 4 jack stands, etc.. I probably spent just as much or more on tools and also ended up with a kink in my neck. The DIY was not worth it. ... show more

Horrible fit and sound. The pipe hits the middle support in under the seats and rubs plus the pipe hits the coil spring. Had adjusted and still vibrates and has surface rust all over already.
