WELL above my expectations. This is a beautiful table, very solid, I don't believe its real wood, seems like laminated but it feels very study and premium. The actual veneer is also immaculate quality and works well with our walnut mid-century theme. Great size, perfect height for our slightly taller scale couch. Build quality is good, the only super minor nit-pick is there is a small dark spot on one edge where maybe the stain or lacquer pooled, but really not a real concern. Also extra bonus points for the only piece of furniture ive seen actually packaged like they care that it gets to its destination undamaged. Quality foam and everything well padded. This is a great product! It is beautiful and came packaged well. It was fairly easy to put together (directions were clear and all hardware was present). There are some tight squeezes - screws with the allen wrench, and the last pieces to attach need to be screwed on, but there are no pre-drilled holes, so I have to make some with a drill. I was looking for a mid-century modern coffee table that wouldn’t break the bank, and this one from Arona is exactly what I needed. The wood finish is gorgeous—warmer in person than in the photos—and the lower shelf is super handy for storing books, remotes, or even a cozy throw blanket. Assembly was straightforward (took me about 20 minutes solo), and it feels really sturdy. No wobbling, even with my dog bumping into it constantly. The size is just right for my small-ish living room—big enough to hold drinks and snacks but not overwhelming. My only tiny gripe? The edges are slightly sharper than I expected, so if you have little kids, you might want to be careful. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic table for the price. Looks way more expensive than it is! I love this table. I can't believe it is this price. I wanted something mid century that was sturdy and affordable and this hits all of those things. I really recommend this and have already bought the matching side tables. All that to say, it was difficult to put together but I was also doing it by myself and it said you should have two people. The first screws were the hardest and I ended up using a hex bit from my drill and putting it on my ratching screwdriver and that worked easily but it took me a long time to figure that combo out. The Allen wrench provided was quite difficult to turn in the tight space. I also used my drill to screw in the final screws. I honestly don't know how a normal screwdriver would get through. But! It's beautiful and some trouble with putting it together shouldn't stop you from getting this. ... show more

Way heavier and nicer than what I would have expected for what I paid for it. Seems very solid and it’s large. Really love this table. Not super difficult to put together but the bottom support pieces are a little tricky. I did it by myself in less than an hour but NGL, I was sweating! I was able to put this together myself in about 40ish minutes. I didn’t do the last two steps. These were the only steps without pre-drilled holes. It’s sturdy without step 5 and 6. I’ll include the instruction booklet incase anyone needs it- the instruction book is from the end table setup- it’s exactly the same for the coffee table. I didn’t feel like taking new pictures. Great looking table and concept. There are some design flaws in the assembly. The biggest flaw is using the hex key to attach the lower board to the legs. The predrilled holes are not the easiest to reach with the hex key. When you tighten it all the way, it splinters the opposite surface, and still feels slightly wobbly. It feels sturdier after attaching the table top. There are two additional pieces that are meant to be drilled into the table bottom surface for stability, but there are no predrilled holes for these. I stopped after I heard wood cracking and didn't want to cause further splintering. Maybe I'll use my drill to predrill some holes, but for now it feels sturdy enough without these peices. For what it's worth I think it's worth the money, just be careful not to tighten it too far. ... show more
