I follow the Asian Beauty subreddit on Reddit, and everyone was carrying on about this toner. It's been very popular in Korea so I broke down and got a bottle. I was a little scared at first because it says that there's light exfoliation. I have extra sensitive skin with a dehydrated , damaged skin barrier. I've tried gentle toners and cleansers , only to feel stinging because the product has an exfoliant like PHA or lactic acid. This is like water. It's not like the harsher exfoliants you encounter in western products. There was a tiny bit of dead skin removal on my face, but not a lot. If you have sebum or acne, you will have to use something else. I follow up with a gommage wash at night couple times a week. There's no fragrance or essential oils, which I love. I also love that the toner has sea water and seaweed. Both have minerals and are great for dehydrated skin. I applied 2 or 3 layers and found it to be lightly hydrating and refreshing. It's watery, so you can use it as a diy mask. It worked well on my very oily forehead, but wasn't enough for my very dry cheeks. You might like this if you have oily skin, acne, combination skin. Maybe your skin is a little dried out or dehydrated from acne treatments? This is for you. It's hydrating, but won't clog pores. If you have dry skin, you might not find it hydrating enough. I think the target audience for this product is acne-prone, combination/oily/normal skin. I collect Korean toners and essences. I don't give it holy grail status because it wasn't hydrating enough for my dry patches, but it's definitely one of the best I have come across. ... show more

I have never had a toner do so much for my skin. I put it on while my skin is damp after cleansing. I sit near a fan to dry it to a silky finish. I'm over 45 so yes this is a miracle product.
