Great replacement and much improved from stock. Upon initial comparison, I was sure there was no chance it would bolt up. It does fit though and does not hit any other components. It bolts up very differently from the original and came with no instructions. The steering in my pickup improved dramatically. Although I do think I had the original dampener with 317k miles. The only complaint is the nut and bolt that connect it to the steering arm has a lock washer. It needs a crown nut and cotter pin because of the rubber seals. I used lock tight but would suggest double nutting it. ... show more

    • Does NOT fit a 1987 4x4 Pickup
Absolutely does not fit a stock 1987 Toyota 4x4 truck. Description said it did but the front bolt and mount on the factory part is tapered and almost like a ball joint. This Shock only comes with one bolt and sleeve for the mount on the passenger side and even that bolt is the wrong size.
