This review is for bumper itself. Not fitment for the frame because it's on my 02 LB7. YES you heard that right. I get this bumper even though I knew beforehand it might not fit. Yes I 100% knew the supplied frame attachments wouldn't line up. So with some research and determination I found a way to get a nice step bumper thats also metal. Fitment for 02 duramax. Yes you going need to drill new holes to get this bumper to fit right. No photos of backing because this is 100% a DYI with this rough country bumper to make it fit. So only install this if you can do it. Does it fit 100% body wise. Yes and no. Very tight tight fit and paint was scratch. This is installer error. So protect your paint. On next paint job it can be fixed. Also installed new class 5 curt receiver with bumper. They look nice together. For bumper wise. I wanted step bumper for my truck. I do like the looks of this bumper also. Now for rock crawling 100% NO. Will it do what I need it to do. Yes. Have a steps and more heavier duty then stock bumper. Yet cant find steps bumper for our classic body duramaxs. Extra thinks I like. Extra 4 holes for red marker lights in the future. Can hold 2 lights for backup lights. Did I mention steps lol. Now for tire lowering spot. Tire is being remounted in back of truck bed. So can't really say anything about it. Now for Rouch Country Only thinks needed to change this into a bumper for us older classic body style is 2 things. The mount to frame is needed to be made for our years. Only other suggestion is would be the ends that wraps around the body. Half inch on each side should do it. Or you could do this by the mounts for the frame by lowing bumper a little but. Also by sticking bumper out a little bit farther. With the right frame mounts then this would keep manufacturing cost down. Holes in the bumper can be plugged up with what you already supplied in box. Only other thing would be the tire lowering spot. This part is separately made from the bumper. ... show more

Really nice look and if you wire the LEDs to reverse people move quickly to get out of the way! lol So cons the license plate area only allows room for license plate and no bezel around it. It is also held on by the license late lights which is pretty ridiculous but I guess it’s a problem I have to deal with rarely so whatever. Instructions were not easy to read and conveyed little information so if you don’t know what you are doing it may be easier to have someone else do it. ... show more
