I purchased this necklace for the craftsmanship and the Jade. Within a month the letters came off. I tried superglue to put them back, they came off again. Also always lay it flat and not with other jewelry as the chain is extremely thin and will knot up each and every time. I still get compliments on the Jade charm, but I'd never spend this much money for something so flimsy. The price has actually gone up since I purchased it and looks like no changes have been made. Bought this necklace on a different website because it’s beautiful. Symbols started falling off around a month later. One year later the top and bottom pieces came off the stone and I super glued the top part to the stone to at least keep that. The symbols are only glued on. They’re not engraved so expect them to fall off. The chain is thin also. ... show more

    • The characters on the front don’t stay.
The necklace it self is absolutely beautiful. I had the necklace for less than a week & the characters on the front of the necklace came “un-glued”. Now being I paid over $200 for this necklace you’d think the gold characters would be secured to the necklace with something other than what seems to be just basic glue. It sucks because I purchased the necklace for the meaning behind the characters that where on it & it’s just very disheartening to not have them on the necklace anymore. I mean if you adore jade (which I do) there’s nothing wrong with the characters not being on it, but like I said the whole reason why I purchased the piece was for the meaning behind the characters. ... show more
