The chain is delicate and very light. It lies well against the skin and mine complemented the pendant hanging from it. But it is very hard to fasten unless you have midget fingers and it breaks too easily. My last one lasted five months and simply came apart without being tugged on or catching on anything. The tiny ring that fit into the clasp came off. It should not have; I think it was not put on properly. I would like to order another but I don't want to go through the breaking again.
