I purchased this bracelet to give as a Christmas gift to my daughter. I am pleased with the bracelet as it is very pretty and I know my daughter will love it. The packaging, however, is the reason I gave it only three stars. It came in a plastic bag inside the box provided. I had to place a piece of foam covered with some black cloth in the box to present it as a gift. When spending well over $200. the item shouldn't look like it was purchased at a dollar store! This bracelet was a gift to me from my beloved partner of so many years. It is gorgeous! He knows I love bows (on some things, not all), and I love sterling silver. Not long before he bought me this bracelet, I purchased a pair of black onyx earrings that dangled from diamond pave silver bows. He knew how much I love those earrings, and I must say, this bracelet goes with them perfectly. They are a perfect match, just like he and I have always been. The clasp on this bracelet is very sturdy; I've never had it come open. And, there is a safety chain just in case it does. The bracelet itself is glittery and very feminine. It is small enough to wear to work, but I prefer the classic look of a plain silver bangle for daytime. I save this bracelet for date nights, parties, and other special occasions. It looks especially nice during the winter holidays when the diamonds can really sparkle in the candlelight. I think this bracelet is appropriate for anyone teenage and up. I have several young girls in my family, and though they don't tell me so, all of them are hoping I pass this bracelet along to them some day. If they're lucky, I'm going to buy each one their very own for Hanukkah. I can't wait to see their faces when they open the packages. (I usually try to give each girl the same thing if possible. It's not always possible because they range in age from nine to twenty-one.)
