They look great, not sure about the light blocking qualities because they were delivered after dark but they are really soft and beautiful. I was worried they would be too sparse looking but they fit great on my 24 inch windows. I got some tension mount curtain rods and they can hold these curtains up even though they are the heaviest curtains I've owned before. My living room already feels warmer too, no more draft from the massive north facing windows. Also, you could mount these on two curtain rods because there is a pocket on the bottom, you can mount them two different ways. This might be the reason some people in the reviews thought they got two different types of curtains, they put one of them on upside down. I ordered two sets and they both match. They are thick and durable, since it's velvet though, I think if you wash them you should use cold water and hang them up to dry. ... show more

Beautiful curtains. They have a nice weight to them and the fabric is very soft. They hang nicely. They have a blackout effect which I like. I plan to buy more in another color. This dusty rose color looks beautiful against my mauve colored walls. The different shades look stunning.

I think these are excellent curtains, especially for the price. I ordered these in the “Moss” green color and they were just what I was looking for. A brighter green and I LOVE the shine. I bought another brand first and those were not shiny at all. I also compared the light blocking quality with the other brand and found this brand to be superior. The pictures show this brand, the lighter/brighter green, compared with the other brand. We shined a flashlight through the outside of the window to see how well the curtains blocked the light. Get these curtains! They are absolutely worth it!! They're not super heavy like some velvets, so I'd call these velour which is still a great deal for the price!- however they are stunning, very well made, and best of all (for me) ... zero chemical or bad smells right out of the bag!! I love that! It's a huge concern of mine when ordering things online because so many products stink of harmful chemicals or even mold at times. These were so wonderful and fresh- like they were right out of a Bed Bath & Beyond circa 1999 😊. They weren't even creased or yucky looking when unfolded.
