So I don’t write reviews unless something surprises me (good or bad). I bought this diffuser strictly for decor purposes. The bottle is so classy and looks great on my dresser. I am not much of a reed diffuser fan normally. I find when you open them it’s extremely overwhelming for a couple of days. I was fully ready to have a strong fully lavender smell overwhelm my bedroom and just buy my time until it went away. I don’t really love lavender, I don’t dislike it - but it’s not really my first choice. However since this was going in the bedroom I figured it was appropriate. My first pleasant surprise was how NOT overwhelming it was. It was perfect! I do see how if you put this in a large space it might not be strong enough - but was perfect for my bedroom. The scent was definitely there and filled the room at the perfect level!!! It’s been almost two weeks and I feel like this scent has just become my rooms smell. It’s kind of infused. I’m obsessed! Now….. let’s talk about the scent!!!!!! This is the scent I have always wanted my room to be without even knowing it! I agree with those folks on here that say it doesn’t smell like lavender. I can definitely smell some lavender, so it’s there…… but it’s also not. It has this sweet yet fresh yet clean yet comforting elegant thing going on that is hard to describe but completely divine! The bad reviews state this isn’t strong ….fair….. and yes the plastic plug is annoying to get out ( but let’s not be dramatic, it can be done ) ….Is the scent make everything thing else worth it…..Yup!!!!

Update: the seller reached out and sent me a replacement. I have to say the replacement smells much better. It does not have the strong odor smell anymore like previous one. The new one definitely has more lavender note in it. Next time, i'd probably get a different scent. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and service. The package came in fine and I was really excited to make my room smell wonderful. I opened the bottle and it smelled just fine (Not the best). When I actually put the reed sticks and left it for a few hours, the smell has transformed into somewhat weird. It's not pleasant. I kind of wish I bought the other scent. This scent is very offensive and gave a huge headache. It does not smell like lavender at all.

As shown on the box this does not contain any essential oil. It also does not say anywhere lavender, and indeed it doesn't smell anything like lavender; it has a cheap soap smell. There are no ingredients listed, the package is flimsy and broke in pieces when I tried to reach the bottle, and it's full of misspelled words. I am not sure what kind of "oil" this is. It looks like fragrant water. I expected (like everyone else) to receive a lavender essential oil diffuser, since that would be the only type of diffuser to actually work, last more than a day, and smell like actual lavender. This is not it. I don't know what the reviews are taking about: there is no essential oil in this bottle and it smells bad. I paid $20 for garbage that will go directly into the garbage can. Shame on the seller!

I rarely write reviews, I don't feel that I should have to review everything that I purchase. With that being said, I felt compelled to review this diffuser. First I will preface this review by saying everyone has different views about fragrances, so don't hate me if you don't like it. I absolutely LOVE this scent!!! The bottle is very classy and it has heft, not your run of the mill diffuser. The scent itself, is not overpowering but fills your house with a deliciously elegant fragrance. I will be ordering again, and I hope this review will help if you're on the fence. Sure it's pricey, but definitely worth it.

I was hesitant to purchase a reed diffuser online, but trusted the good reviews and went ahead and got the lavender reed diffuser. I love the scent and smell of lavender and have several candles and other lavender scented items at home, but, the smell of this reed diffuser does NOT smell anything like lavender!!! The scent itself is actually quite week and I can barely smell anything, even when I stand right next to the diffuser (I have flipped the reeds several times already and use the diffuser in a small bathroom). However, every time I flip the reeds and the liquid gets on my fingers, the only thing I can smell is a strong chemical smell similar to industrial alcohol or a really overpowering bad perfume in a cleaning product. Not sure if I got a defective item, but this reed diffuser does most definitely NOT release a soothing, spa-like scent, nor does it smell anything like lavender.
