I redid my bathroom and let me tell you this mirror is so perfect for my space. Very bright and you have different lighting setting plus it has a fog feature if your bathroom has steam while taking a hot shower. I just love it. Wasn't hard to put up on wall either.

This is my second mirror. This one is very pretty with back lighting. Picture is in dimmed position. One thing that should be considered is the light is quite bright that emits from the on off buttons at night.

Mirror is a nice addition to refreshen a bathroom. I like the different settings and that it has a memory when using a light switch. I did have some questions that I asked by email customer support. Their agent Emily is incredible. She is quick, knowledgeable, insightful, and has a good understanding that to install mirror disrupts a bathroom a little bit and she wants to make it as minimally invasive as possible. Wr like it. We were concerned that it won't be bright enough in our setup as there isn't any room to add a mirror and a vanity light, but it works great for a small basement bathroom. 4 stars because the plug needs to be cut to make it work with existing wiring (pretty easy by barbarian in my opinion) and i am pretty sure it is a produc of china with less-then-optimal quality as even the labet on the glass was misspelled. Most importantly it has auto save option meaning it will return to its previous lighting option one power is resupplied back from the wall switch. Also, place rear plastic tabs after you fit the mirror onto the wall. Because most walls are not even, plastic tabs need to only go on corners which are not flush with the wall. ... show more

Description says front and backlight. It only has ONE light system around the edges that shines out from the side, which is what they are calling front and back. The light faces the sides of the mirror. It is visible through a semi- opaque area at the front side, around the edges of the mirror, which provides some dim front light.
