As a service technician, being inside other people's homes, I've seen what these lit up mirrors are capable of and how bright they can be. When my mirror came in, the box was beat up and even our UPS driver told me his came in broken and to check the box out. Our mirror was not damaged thankfully. I proceeded to attach the wiring to the bolt on 110 plug to test and make sure it works. It did. I brought it into the bathroom where the vanity mirror and light was being replaced, and compared the brightness of the two. The mirrors built in light even adjusted to its highest setting is half of what two light bulbs would be considered. I've certainly seen brighter so that's where my "it could be better" is coming from. The brightness however does not cause any glare while looking into the mirror at your reflection. The anti fog works, just sometimes you have to press it multiple times. ... show more

This mirror is fantastic and looks beautiful in our master bath. My daughter bought on for new bath an loved it so I ordered the 39" x 60". An electrician will need help hanging this mirror and our guy was amazing. The only complaint is that the hardware, which is 4- 3" ( I think) and 4 PLASTIC holders. Unless this is new construction, you can't plan where the hangars will attach, since these are set. You totally need to install this very heavy mirror in the studs and since our home is now 30 years old, and we were replacing our existing mirror, the drywall, would not hold the molly bolts he used in place of the tiny PLASTIC screw holders. The studs of course were in the wrong place and the only part of the mirror was on the upper left corner. The electrician made his own hardware that solved the problem. So using molly bolts, still would not hold and blew out of the drywall. Also the points which are on the back of this mirror ARE NOT ADJUSTABLE. Installed two of these mirrors in our bathrooms today. We wanted to get lighted mirrors since the lighting in the bathrooms was not great for getting ready. I will say that these mirrors are a significant upgrade to what we had. They are very clear and provide a good amount of light, which can be adjusted brighter or softer. We haven't used the defogger yet but testing it out made the surface heat up so it should probably work. I would have given this mirror 5 stars, but I have a few gripes that knock off a star. First, it's not 36"x28" as advertised. It's more like 35 7/16 x 27 9/16 (or in other words, 90cm x 70 cm). It's such a minor difference that you would not notice by eyeballing it, but it makes the installation pretty fiddly, given that the mounting holes are not nicely rounded numbers in inches. Additionally, the instructions don't provide these distances or a mounting template so you need to be confident in your measurements (I got 29 5/8 x 26 3/4). Next, the mounting hardware is a joke. The drywall anchors look so flimsy I would hesitate to hang a piece of paper on them. They also recommend drilling a 6mm hole - good luck finding that drill bit in your toolbox! Do yourself a favor and get some drywall anchors that are rated for the weight of the mirror and use standard sized drill bits. Regarding the wiring, as others have mentioned, there is no ground and the wires are blue and brown. Lastly, the two touch switches on the face of the mirror are always on (blue when off and white when on), and these are bright enough that the bathroom door to the bedroom needs to be closed to eliminate light coming in at night. This isn't a major issue, but I would have preferred real on-off switches on the side of the mirror. Overall, I think this is a good mirror, and for the price I think it's the best thing available. Just wish that the manufacturers had made this more suitable for the US market. ... show more

It's beautiful! Looks perfect in my bathroom. My contractor installed it, so I don't know how "easy" it was, but he didn't have any issues. I would give it 5 stars, but the anti fog button is a little temperamental... I usually have to press it a few times before it turns on. Other than that, perfect! ... show more

Pretty much like everything. Installation really takes two people, otherwise all is good. ( Please overlook the patches in the wall around the edges as they have nothing to do with the mirror and were caused by the removal of a larger wall attached mirror). I have had this mirror now for about one year and it is very nice. My title "durable" relates to the fact that this mirror was knocked over while resting on the bedroom floor leaned up against our bed while awaiting installation. It landed on my contractors tool bag and I thought for sure it was destroyed, but it did not break or crack or damage in any way! The first mirror I ordered (from another source) was never delivered as it was damaged in the crate!! We really enjoy the mirror and the lighting is on a separate source than our basic lighting. It's nice in the night if we need to turn on the light but want a soft and low light so as not to light up the whole area! I highly reccommend. ... show more
