This is exactly what I was looking for. Yes, of course it sticks to itself if you are not careful, it's contact paper. The good news is, you can remove and replace as much as needed without it losing its tackiness. I removed the backing a little at a time as I was going and it was fine. Getting the lines to match up was a breeze. The lines are a bit grayish, but that's what gives it dimension. The quality of it is pretty durable. I was pretty rough trying to get some of the bubbles out and thought for sure I was going to tear it, but it didnt even make a wrinkle in the paper. It's been on a week and so far nothing has fallen down. I purchased the tool kit that was offered with it and I am sure glad it did. I think it was less than 6 bucks, but it definitely helps to smooth everything out and the razor is super sharp to get in the tiniest nook for trimming, but remember, it's 6 bucks, so its nothing fancy. ... show more

You cant tell when looking at it that its not real wainscoting. Easy to peel and apply. Hasnt come loose in first 3 months. I used a roll of stick on black trim at the 34” line and it looks very real too. Good products if you must remove when moving out.
