Got this for Easter for my son. He’s 45 lbs. it’s been 3 months and this thing is still going strong! We’ve had ride on toys that didn’t last a week before so I’m impressed 😂 the covers on the wheels were difficult for me to put on, but after an hour I managed to pop them in place. Someone stronger might have an easier time. It isn’t super powerful- it has a tough time getting going on any kind of incline and it’s not SUPER fast (which personally I like for my 3 year old.) I ordered this as an upgrade for my son who had a 6v ATV around 1.5 yo. 12v is not much faster and this particular 4wheeler has this weird delay at takeoff(probably for the best).I ended up upgrading the battery(conversion) and my son loves it now.

The speed is rather slow, but great for a smaller child (perfect for my 2 year old). Battery life is better than our other 3 battery operated vehicles. Customer service was excellent.

Update: This quad is wired so that each motor only sees 6 volts. This is not a 12V toy, it is a 6V toy. The motors are 6V motors as shown in the picture. Original review: First of all "Rollplay" is not an appropriate name for a kids toy. Something lost in translation. The "soft start" circuit is way too gentle. There should be no throttle delay when the quad is already rolling. It confuses the kids because they lift their foot up and down on the pedal trying to make it go but just end up restarted the soft start sequence and the quad doesn't go anywhere. The reverse function is already low power, adding the soft start to that makes it get stuck in reverse very easily. Needs an external charging port. Design requires zip ties around the motors to stay in place for durability. Very odd. At least use black zip ties ...... Other than that, it's fine. Kids think it's fun. Just a tad bit slow. ... show more

WHEN IT ARRIVED ONE OF THE REAR TIRE FENDERS WAS CRACKED OFF. SINCE I AM THE ONE DELIVERING TO MY GRANDSON IN FLORIDA IT WAS A HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT BECAUSE NO TIME TO RETURN AND HAVE IT BACK IN TIME TO ME TO TAKE TO FLORIDA WITH ME. I INSPECTED THE FENDER THAT WASNT BROKEN AND CAN SEE THIS HAPPENING TO THIS ONE ALSO WITH LITTLE EFFORT. I ENDED UP GLUEING AND TAPING WITH GORRILLA DUCT TAPE TO MAKE IT SOME WHAT EYE APPEALLING TO MY GRANDSON. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE! MADE FROM VERY CHEAP PLASTIC THAT WILL NOT LAST. WENT AND BOUGHT HIM ANOTHER PRESENT TO ADD WITH THIS TO MAKE UP FOR MY MISTAKE. HAVE SPENT "ALOT" OF $$$$$ ON AMOZON PAST FEW YEARS AND THIS IS THE ONLY ORDER I REGRET. BUYER BEWARE!!!! ... show more
