    • This stand is a beast and a game changer
Ordered before Christmas hoping for the best, just set it up and WOAH MAMA I think it could double for a car lift lol. It’s stout, with great quality casters. Be prepared though: I have pretty advanced RA that affects my hand strength, but even my husband couldn’t manually press the casters into their receptacle. We had to hammer them in. I doubt this is “recommended” but literally was our only choice. This year we picked up a 7.5’ “skinny” tree for our little condo that also has a skinny center pole and did not need to use the adapter o-ring unless we did something wrong (made the tree unstable). We transferred the fully assembled pre-lit tree to this rolling base with ease, one person stabilized while the other tightened the beautifully designed clamps, added a zip up storage bag and rolled her out to the garage fully assembled - over carpet, wood, concrete and the threshold that separates our kitchen and garage. Easy. Simple. Easy. Did I mention easy?! Next years Christmas set up will be an absolute cinch, relieved I won’t have to assemble and refluff a scratchy tree! We will simply lock the casters in place, throw on a fluffy tree skirt to hide the bulky base, and be on our merry way. Btw this was so smooth, and the zip up storage bag so roomy, I think we could have put away the tree fully decorated. Might try that next year! ... show more

    • Sturdy easy to put together!
This was better than expected. Very heavy solid abs sturdy. We have an expensive Christmas tree. 9’ professionally wrapped with 1400 commercial LED bulbs. So it is very heavy. This is the perfect stand. Would buy again and highly recommend

    • Have no idea how to extend the legs...
Reading the reviews, I'm surprised so many people gave bad reviews for a stand meant to hold up to a 7.5' tree, when they tried to have it hold a 10' or 12' tree. I have a 7.5' tree and it looks like this will work fine. I put the bottom and middle tiers on this and had relatively no issues. I'd love to extend the legs (make them longer), but I have no idea how to do that. I pulled on them with no movement whatsoever. I made sure the tightening wheels were out as far as I could take them without them falling out. If you know how to do this, please share! ... show more

I didn’t want our tree to be 12 feet this year; so, I decided to use it as a 9 foot tree. I thought when I bought this stand it would be ideal because you can use it with a cone shape or circular insert into the stand. As you can see in the photos, I only have two out of the five tiers I have for my 12 foot tree. I didn’t use the larger tier because I didn’t want to decorate the tree as a 12 foot this year. I put the next 2 tiers and everything was fine. When my son put the third tier on, it was swaying back snd fourth. I had even tied the tree with heavy duty chords and wrapped them around our wrought iron, very sturdy landing and it was fine until I placed the 3rd tier on. The Balsam 12 foot tree is very heavy and believe me, if I tried to use the tree as a twelve footer this stand, I’m sure the tree would’ve tobbled over. I painstakingly wrapped the tree to be secure; but once my son placed the third tier it was no use!!!! I had prepared the stand for a 9 foot since that’s what I wanted to decorate. My Dan got the tree up and it fell over! I took the stand and made it fit for a 12 foot tree and it couldn’t stay up even after I secured it. Thus stand is for a very light weight tree. Good luck! I am still keeping thus stand if it will keep my 8 foot tree in my bedroom, it probably weighs 1/5 what our big tree is. If it doesn’t hold the tree in my room, it gives back, for sure.     • Very nice for the price
After buying an expensive tree, we decided to get a rolling stand for ease of storage. The tree is 4 ft, so will fit in a closet fully assembled. This stand was a surprise…large, sturdy,versatile. Can be used with taller trees, and adapters are included for flat bottom or pointy bottom trees. Haven’t used it yet, but it feels like it will roll easily on our plush carpet into the closet. Fairly easy to assemble with good diagrams. The stand was also cheaper than one marketed by the tree company, and appears to be the same as their stand. ... show more

    • Sturdy, but the wheels are really tough to install
My old tree stand never really held my artificial tree properly - this one does the job more than adequately. I love that you can roll the tree around/turn it as needed until you get it just right, then lock the wheels. However, installing the wheels was a monumental feat, and locking them isn't much easier. I ordered this tree stand because I flocked my fake Christmas tree and it made it so heavy that the original stand cracked in half. Lol. This stand is probably too big for my tree but it's such a great quality stand that I am keeping it anyway. This thing could hold a huge and heavy tree for sure! The wheels are very convenient especially if you have to add your own lights to your tree. Highly recommend this tree stand! ... show more

    • DO NOT BUY THIS STAND FOR ANY SIZE TREE
We purchased this item for a 12' tree, the stand appeared to be sturdy when we put it together, however after installing the bottom two sections of the tree into the stand the tree was tilted to one side no matter how tight we made the stand screws, and after installing the remainder top sections of the tree the entire stand lifted on one side and the tree fell over, this is even without any decorations on it, my husband fell off the ladder. Not sure of how it would withstand the weight of a smaller tree. Additionally the wheel locks do not work - the lock wingnuts are misproportionally longer than the wheels and when we attempted to turn it to lock the first wheel it put a gauge in my hardwood floor.
