These are honestly really great, esp for the price. We were passing $6 per rental and so it made more sense to invest in our own skates. Out of the bag the wheels are very very tight, but after 5 laps they started to break in and after skating an hour I was really happy and comfortable. My kid and I are the same size and I wish I had anticipated that these would need to break in, bc my kid isn't a confident skater and was really overwhelmed. I bought the man size which is 7/5 equivalent to woman size 9 if your feet wide get the 8/5 size women 10. I Soley want this skate for the nylon plate!! I been skating, with my old skates for a year, with a metal plate I really want a Riedell boot skate. But I settle for this for now. I switch all my wheels, cushion, and Barrens off my old skate to this boot. the white light up wheels were to slow; I never plan on using them anyway. I didn't do it myself; I had the rink skate guy do it!! All in All. The boot was comfortable! But I have to break them in a little. they fit perfect though. ... show more

    • These work best inside a rink. Not really the best quality for outside skating.

I love my skates...They are pretty and the roll really well. I think they are meant for inside only though. Outside they feel a little chopping while skating these wheels are made for smooth surfaces.
