Bought this for my older vacuum but the brush is different. It doesn't have the little rubber thing along the brush, and the roller bar is way too small for my shark vacuum I got from HSN 4 years ago.

Roller replacement is simple but these non-proprietary parts failed to snap-in securely like the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) causing the vacuum to develop an annoying vibration during operation. Suction improved dramatically by replacement of the dirty rollers but the noise wasn’t worth it. I purchased new OEM rollers directly from SHARKNINJA which securely snapped into place so now the vacuum functions like new without vibration. Price was only a bit higher. Into the garbage these generic rollers go. WASTE OF MONEY for me 😞.

The original Shark bristle brush is fine but the foam roller on the front end was falling apart and not picking up the dog hairs. As a result, the bristle brush was getting all the long dog hairs wrapped around the roller and failing to do a good job. This is as good as the original, at a better price than you can re-order directly from Shark. Added bonus, they give you a tool for de-tangling the dog hairs wrapped around the brush roller. It even has a blade edge in the crook of the tool for slicing thru the hairs that are entwined and nearly impossible to remove with using scissors. Good quality; great price.
