These boots are a very nice surprise. They will be my new daily wearer during the winter months. Sizing: I usually wear either a 10.5 or 11, so I ordered an 11. I also have very wide feet. The sizing is perfect, and the toe box is plenty big enough for my wide feet. Comfort: These are actually more comfortable than my Ariat square toe boots. I'm not sure if the padding will compress over time, but these boots walk much softer than I would have expected. Additionally, the comfort in the bridge of my foot is very nice. It's not too cramped or stiff. I can take a full step without being constrained or having a pinched foot. One caveat with comfort: I usually wear my boots with low cut socks. At first, the stitching on the inside of these boots is very rough. I may have to wear higher socks until things break in a bit more. Durability: I'm not a shoe guy. The only way I can tell if a boot is any good is whether it lasts a couple of years. That being said, these seem like they will last a good long while. Nothing feels cheap, thin, or flimsy. I'll update my review if they split or fall apart too soon. Looks: Honestly, I'm not crazy about the flag or the light tan color. It's just not my style. The flag will be covered by my pants leg, so it doesn't matter. I plan to drench the boots in boot oil and then get them nice and filthy with dust and grime. That should darken them up pretty quickly. All in all, I'm very impressed.

Quality leather. Easy on and easy off, relatively speaking…. As if any cowboy boot is easy to put on and take off without a zipper Style is right up my alley. This is my 2nd pair of square toed boots and I like them just as much as traditional cowboy boots. These were about $75 when I ordered them and that to me is a good deal. I am still breaking them in and that may take up to another 6 months but so far these feel like they will last for years to come. Not to mention they fit perfectly and are pretty darn comfortable.

So my almost 13 yr old has some unusual big feet. Length wise he is a 11-11.5. However the challenging part is his width. Many times we would have to go to a size 12 or try to seek out those rare brands that offer wide or extra wide sizes. We have ordered and returned a couple western size boots due to they were just to narrow. After reading the description of this boot we gave it a shot. Upon arriving, we noticed the cool details and color combo of the boot. For $70 it is nicely put together with some great stitching, design, and what appears to be at least average materials to other boots we have dealt with. Now the real test. Would my son be able to get his fat ankle and calf through the boot neck and actual shoe? After a quick hard tug of the boot, it fit him snuggly at first. After walking around in them for a couple hours they definitely stretched and broke in. To the point, where he is able to wear thick comfortable socks where he is not able to, with most of his current shoes. Having said that, the size 12 works, but a size 11.5 would have fit him just a tad bit better, but hey, he's 13, he'll be able to keep and grow into these boots for at least a few months. All in all we are very happy with these boots, mostly because we have family pictures coming up, a couple shots with a country/western theme. And these boots look great, average comfort, and the size is perfect for those with wide feet.

These boots are so much nicer than I was really expecting them to be for the price. The leather seems to be real leather pieces, not bonded particle leather. The sole is sturdy and firm and appears well constructed with the leather upper. The flag is really embroidered through the leather and not just a cheap printed look which is what I expected. As for fit, I usually wear between a 10.5 and an 11 depending on the shoe and brand, usually closer to 10.5 though. I ordered 10.5 for these boots and did so to intentionally be on the smaller side so that the leather can stretch and break in and form to my foot. I think that is exactly what will happen, they are a little snug but certainly not uncomfortably so and I think after several weeks or months of daily wear they will loosen up just enough to be a perfect fit.

I love boots; they’re the way shoes were always meant to be: durable, easy to put on and off at a moments notice, comfortable, and stylish. These check all those boxes. I got the ones with the flag and it’s sewn into the leather expertly—no loose threads or ugly parts. The quality of the leather is great, and the color is perfectly accurate. I found them to be very comfortable, though maybe a bit short? As in the top of my foot hit the “roof” of the boot more than with other boots I’ve worn, but maybe that’s just me. They have a great stepping sound—yes, that matters—and they were great for both tucking my jeans in or folding over, nice and versatile! As far as boots go the price is pretty reasonable, and if you’re in the market for new boots these would be a great choice!

I purchased Tony Lamas a few years ago at another store, which turned out a bit disappointing since they wore out in less than two years. I looked for some plain leather boots for the cheapest price I could find, and landed on these. The Tony Lamas were lined, thankfully these are not, since all the lining ever does is get worn and make problems getting the boot on and off. This is exactly what I was looking for, I would definitely recommend them, the price is right and the quality is better.
