I do love the color and the fit. Except...the description says curve hugging jeans. The only thing I do not like is that they are not curve hugging, they are more like a relaxed fit. I do not have hips so they fit me slightly baggy in that area. I do not want to send them back for a refund so I'm going to hem the sides in. I'm 5ft 2in and I weigh 158-160. I bought size 11 with a 32 length. Again, perfect fit except in the hip area. They do not hug me there. ... show more

These Wrangler Willow Mid Rise Performance Jeans are hands-down my new go-to for long days in the saddle. From the first ride, I could tell they were designed with real horsewomen in mind. The no-gap waistband is a game-changer, it stays put whether I’m mounting up, trotting out, or doing barn chores. No tugging, no adjusting, just comfort and coverage where it counts, they even fit nicely without a belt! The fit is flattering without being restrictive, snug through the seat and thigh, with just the right amount of stretch to move with me, not against me. I don’t know if this is just my experience. But I ordered the recommended size even though it was a size smaller than I usually get. The legs and length were great, but the waist was SOO tight. I’m returning and trying my typical size so I’ll report back when I receive them. The material is great and they are really cute so I hope it works out! Update: I ordered my typical size and while they fit in all areas, the waist is still really tight so the waistband is uncomfortable. I also bought a pair of Lee jeans with a similar waistband and theirs is far more comfortable. The jeans themselves are great quality, sturdy material, and a nice dark color. I haven’t ridden in them yet, so it has yet to be determined if they are the “ultimate riding pants” but we will find out after this rainstorm passes. MORAL OF THE STORY: ORDER YOUR REGULAR SIZE OR A SIZE UP IF YOU WANT A LOOSER WAIST. ... show more
