I recently moved houses so I transitioned to this desk from an L-shaped desk, since I didn't have much room space for it anymore. My old room had hardwood floor while the new room has carpet. So being able to place my PC on the low shelf on this desk was a huge plus for me, one of the main reasons I looked to get this desk. Here I will list my pros and cons for this desk. Pros: - Low shelf for PC or other storage, helpful when you have carpet to prevent the PC from sitting directly on top of carpet, causing dust clog-up. - Very easy set up. All pieces of hardware are included, with a very simple to follow instruction manual. Each hardware piece is labeled of course to simplify the assembly process. - Multiple size options. - Metal legs and wooden tabletop. The metal legs increase the desks stability and durability whilst the wooden top keeps the desk's functionality high and attractive. - Wooden under storage for cables. This part is not required to assemble with the desk but is a truly great feature. It allows cables to be organized and well hidden keeping the aesthetic pleasing. Also serves as a nice footrest lol - Finally my favorite part, and possibly the best part of the desk, the pre-installed outlet and USB ports. The desk has 4 outlet plugs as well as 2 USB ports on the top right corner of the tabletop allowing for quick and easy plugs. Cons: - One major con with this desk I found is that the wooden tabletop barely hangs off the edge of the desk. There is about a 1/3" - 1/2" inch clearance from the metal base to the edge of the wooden top. This makes it difficult for desk mounted monitor mounts and such. The manufactures seemed to be aware of this and included a "Auxiliary Block" so you can install a mount hassle-free on the desk edge. Because of this included block, this is just a "Half-con" since the manufacturer understands this slight blight. - Slight addition to the previous bullet point, I really appreciate the fact that extra hardware was given just in case, I just also wish they gave an extra Auxiliary block in the case of multiple mounts being used (more monitors, microphone mount, etc.) Overall, this desk is a great purchase option and I highly recommend. The pros obviously outweigh the cons in my (above listed) opinion.

"It’s a desk! It’s fine. That’s the level of passion a desk warrants. It’s a desk, it doesn’t solve all of my problems. But it doesn’t make me angry. It’s a desk– it doesn’t smell bad, it has a flat surface for my stuff, it’s brown, it goes on the floor. It’s not coated with toxic waste and it’s not a portal to a nether place. It’s – it’s – it doesn’t make me ecstatic, but it’s fine." - Paraphrasing Louis CK here It's a desk, fairly high quality materials, really easy to assemble, excellent value for the money, it can accommodate two fairly large computers / monitors. The lower portion fits a nearly full size tower. On top on the right I have a Mid-tower Lenovo 5. I have two 27" monitors side by side. The second chair is a little uncomfortable to sit at, but you can have two adults working side by side with one another. The only concession to space that I made is I have a mini keyboard next to my full size keyboard. Plus it can fit one (possibly 2? Haven't tried that functionality yet.) cat. *Use of cat prevents use of computer because cat and computer are incompatible.

Very happy with the desk. It has good depth to be able to keep a writing pad in addition to keyboard, has place under the desk to store books and best of all - plug points on the table. Putting it together took me about an hour , the instructions are clear and tools were provided as well. 2 things to note: 1. the screws are exactly the number you need. So make sure to not misplace one. 2. get someone to help you. The pieces are heavy. I did it alone, but could have saved a lot of time if I had someone holding the pieces while I was putting them together. The desk is sturdy and I liked the fact they provided table edge guards. All is all, a very affordable and good looking home office desk.

I read several reviews about this desk that mentioned parts arriving damaged and build issues of screws not lining up with their holes. Aside from a scratch underneath the wood next to the power strip, the desk had no other visible damage. As for screw hole issues, either those reviewers got hold of a bad desk or they pot the desk together incorrectly. This desk was so ridiculously easy to put together you only really need the instruction manual to distinguish screws. Pros: Crazy easy to put together. Very sturdy, the desk has all of my PC equipment on top (about 110lbs). The power strip works as advertised. The wood finish, which is not black but more of a black coffee really dark-brown color, makes the desk looks more expensive than it is. Cons: This may be more of a personal concern than a con, but i question the longevity of the power strip. As mentioned, this is not black but really dark brown. HUGE CON, the wood finish, although nice to look at, seems really cheap. I sled a carboard box, with no sharp edges or pointy objects inside, on top of the desk and it left scratches. How can carboard scratch wood? And the moisture in the air stains the wood. So if your room gets humid like during the Summer, be prepared for stains. And it requires some effort to clean any stains off. Conclusion: I care more about functionality than esthetics so i'm satisfied with this desk, cons and all. But if you like to show off your setup and don't want to worry about an easily scratched and stained surface; either purchase a large desktop mouse to cover the whole desktop, or look elsewhere for a desk.
