This piece is solidly built and extremely sturdy, weighing approximately 75 pounds. If your delivery is left in a mailroom or common area, plan accordingly and get help moving it. Assembly took me 4 hours and 20 minutes working alone, and the only tool provided is a 1-inch triangle-handle screwdriver. While most of the build is manageable solo, attaching the two tabletop sections is exceptionally difficult without a second person. Unless you enjoy lengthy furniture assembly projects, the additional assembly service is money well spent. For roughly $104 plus a tip, professionals will assemble it, remove the packaging, and leave you with the finished product. Once assembled, the quality is impressive. The unit is heavy, stable, and well-constructed without feeling oversized. Its narrow footprint makes it ideal for small to mid-sized apartments while still providing excellent functionality. The combination of drawers and open shelving offers ample storage and display space for accent pieces. The finish is clean, the color matches the product photos accurately, and the overall appearance is exactly as advertised. This table has exceeded my expectations and functionality and quality. It is more narrow than I was expecting, but it works out better for my small space. The storagr space in the middle is short but a great size for wedding in throw pillows. I will be looking for bins short enough to fit for added storage. If you want to build it with the drawers facing forward you have to reference the last few pages of the instructions first to get an idea of how to make that happen. There are no directions for that way and if you follow the instructions straightforward you will end up with the drawers facing towards the TV. It looks wonderful, but for my personal use I would find it more functional with the drawers facing towards the couch. The setup is very straightforward and easy to do but it takes a while because there are a lot of steps. It does require two people to assemble but you could get it done with just one if you are strong-willed and creative. Just take your time and pay close attention to the instruction diagrams. To lift the top you have to grab either end and lift it uniformly or it does wobble a little bit. A crossbar support between the two hinges would stabilize it a lot more. When the top is up I can comfortably lean my elbows on the table without any kind of wobble or fear of the table top going back down. In order to access the center compartments you do have to lift up the top so a side panel or something similar would make it easier to use that space, but for non-regular access it works just fine. I would recommend using coasters though because I dont know how well finish on the wood will hold up against wear. I got the lighter Grey color. Overall I would recommend this especially considering the exceptional build quality,functionality, and low price of ~$188 compared to other items of similar quality.

Very good value!! I am so impressed at the attention to detail. All edges and surfaces (even those that wouldn’t show) are covered, and quality is excellent. Sturdy and very nice looking. Space saving when closed. The top when fully opened is quite large. We can’t wait to have game night here!! Only took us an hour to assemble. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Hardware is good quality. Small storage is acceptable and adequate for what we need. I would not hesitate to purchase this again. Thank you Amazon: delivered a day earlier than expected.

This is a really nice, cleverly designed coffee table. The fold out table is quite handy for small apartments or houses. It was fairly easy to put together by myself. It took about 2 and a half hours. The only thing that really gave me pause was the thin board that goes on the inside area where the storage is located and the in the bottoms of the drawers. The board is not very thick or sturdy and won't hold anything super heavy. I wish they would make those pieces twice as thick. Also, the boards are not square but slightly rectangular so it does make a difference which way you slide them into the slots. Measure before putting them in or they will fit loose if put in the wrong way. This is not mentioned in the instructions. One trick for those who will be assembling this by themselves when you go to attach the large table. Start with putting the desk part on first, then attach the hinges that go on the large table to the bottom part of the coffee table base first rather than attaching them to the table itself as the instructions say. That way you can set the large table on top with the desk supporting it then go underneath and connect the hinges to the table. If you assemble it the way it says in the instructions, you will need someone to hold the table for you while you screw the hinges into the coffee table base. This reversed method made it super simple to install the top table. All in all, I think it's a great table and will hold up ok if treated gently. It's not a long term solution but for someone starting out or that has a small space, it's almost perfect. It's compact and has a neutral design that fits into most decors.

Incredibly easy to put together, was able to get it done in 2.5 hours- only needed help at the very end to hold up the heavy folding top while the hinges were being installed. High quality wood, nice and sturdy- not like cheap flimsy pressed cardboard. Very easy to use, and very good instructions on how to safely use and install the drawers and convertible lift-top. It got one or two scratches from being worked on/getting out of the box, but they aren't distracting. Easy to align all parts into place, easy to use. Shipping had a few issues, but it arrived in great condition. Absolutely fantastic use for dinner nights, tea time, and playing DnD in the living room.

(See video & images) It came within 24 hrs of ordering & took less than 2 hours to put together. The instructions were so easy & seemless (you will need 2 people to assemble). The quality of the materials is top notch, color is the perfect 'millennial grey'. The 4 in 1 top is my absolute favorite and much needed in our home! The table top lifts up half & full, its also very high (see my xlarge dog for scale) and finally feels like were at a real dining table in our living room! It folds up easily, has lots of storage & the drawers are smooth to open and close. My 1 and only con is the warning stickers they put on top of the table were very hard to clean off and i had to use lemon oil to make sure the materials were not compromised. Over all I'd recommend this to everyone!

Always a little nervous ordering assemble yourself furniture. This table and package was unblemished. It is pretty heavy and I felt sorry for the Delivery Guy who carried it up 25 stairs! Give yourself space to assemble the table. The packing was amazingly thorough and protected everything very well. All of the pieces and hardware are clearly labeled, including arrows to make sure the assembly goes smoothly. I managed the assembly myself, but you might want a helper. Attaching the main top was a little challenging, but would have been easy with help. I liked that each type of hardware was distinct from the rest, so no way to use the wrong screw here or there. They even included a screwdriver that was actually pretty nice. It was the only tool you'd need and didn't strip and of the screws. So much for that aspect. Once all put together, everything works as advertised. The surfaces look like real wood. I got the gray color and it looks good. They have little stickers to cover up some of the hardware. I didn't bother with them as none of it shows in regular use. The mechanisms work very easily and are steady when the top is up or down. The only note I will mention is a little taller as a coffee table than I imagined, but that's my fault, it is accurate in the descriptions. I looked forward to raising the top to eat or work on my laptop. When in the up position, it is also a little too high. It kind of feels like you're a kid sitting at the grown-ups table. So far, I've been using it in the down position. It is a good height for working on art projects standing up or sitting on a chair instead of the sofa.

I received this table quicker than the delivery estimate by 4 days. Please be aware that the package is very heavy, but for good reason! The table is very good quality. I also purchased an ikea tv stand around the same time, so I can note that the building process is very similar. The quality was also similar to that of ikea, but I am sure I would've spent more at ikea, plus I would've had to pay for shipping. The table functions exactly as described, and the mechanisms seem sturdy. My friend has a similar table to this, and while I am not sure of the brand she has, her table has lasted her many years. I can suspect this table will bring me joy for many years. The instructions were easy and very detailed. There were no missing pieces or parts, and in fact, they provide an extra bag of parts just in case. There was damage to the shipping box but the table was completely unscathed. There were no dents, chips, dings whatsoever. All of the holes lined up perfectly and the table took about an hour to put together. The only notes I'd like to make are that it is very heavy, so please take this into consideration when buying. I was able to lift and build this all on my own, but it would have been much easier with help.
