Assembled easily and fairly quickly. Nice overall appearance and sturdiness. Directions were clear. My only gripe is the numbered stickers on the wooden parts. They peal off the metal easy enough but you have to use a blade and solvent to get them off the wood shelves.

I'm so excited about this bookcase, I have needed a place to store my books for a while and I love it! First off it looks amazing, I love how it has the hangers you can attach to whichever side you want. I use them to hang my Challa purses off of. It fits my space perfectly! and it's pretty sturdy too, I'm not worried about it falling over at all. It wasn't too bad to put together it took me a few hours. We were looking for a sturdy bookcase that doesn't touch the floor, and this perfectly fit our needs. It's a little narrower than your typical cheap bookshelf from the store, but it's so much more durable and more functional. It looks really nice, and we're going to get another one to pair with it. I was able to assemble it by myself, but I'd recommend having a second person there to help with the first shelf at least, because it was a little tricky to balance the sides and the shelf simultaneously. ... show more

The entire time I set this up I was amazed. The material was strong. It felt like real wood and not a laminant that was cheaply glued on. Even after putting it up, it held its shape and stands strong. Even came with convenient hooks to hang stuff on.
