The Good Action is nice but you can get that on entry level. The additional knobs for adjusting parameters live is great. The Not so Good The small screen kept glitching out mid playing. Yep, I had the latest update. I installed the complete pack Sound Pack and it sounded nothing like the demoes on Sound Cloud. It sounded low volume and muffled. No expression at all. The RD 88 is a great keyboard for studio or live performance. The Piano is great although I do find a little clunky sound on the middle B and A. Its not major but enough to bother me. All in all the sound quality is great with lots of great strings and other sounds. Very lightweight which is great for touring and live performance at a very reasonable price. I did write to the company about this but got no response. Im sure they can come up with an upgrade to clear that problem. I still give this 5 stars ... show more

I absolutely love Roland pianos, and having toured quite a bit I love the size and weight of this model. The pianos are amazing. But the organ patches are not good, and the worst part is there is not a good way to control the Leslie speed. It is preset such that you use the modulation wheel which makes it sound awful. I have spend countless hours trying to setup a foot switch to do a simple slow/fast Leslie effect but this unit simply does not have that capability. Cmon Roland... you would have knocked it out of the park if you had nailed the B3/Leslie section. Boo. ... show more
