Very responsive and customizable. Will be instantly playable to anyone familiar with saxophone. Onboard sounds are plentiful, with some interesting synths. If you want to mimic a real instrument sound, you will not find anything convincing here, but when combined with SWAM software, the results are awesome. Overall very well designed product.

The bundle as offered by Austin Bazzar was a great value. They included a microphone cable as an added bonus. Delivery was very prompt and efficient. The instrument is excellent for practicing without bothering others. The sound quality is much better using headphones. The on board speakers are good for trying new sounds, fingerings, and playing new passages on the fly. I am looking forward to playing this with an amp to hear the sound quality outside of the headphones. This instrument is very robust and can be as complex or simple as desired but always sounds great. Some sounds or "scenes" are very synth sounding but hey this is a wind synthesizer at heart. This instrument can never replace the sound quality and timbre of an acoustic saxaphone. I would rate this product higher if it performs during a live performance but hope to file an update soon.

The keys of the lower notes of this product are not working. Mainly the E,F, F# and D keys.I tried to reach out the seller before leaving a comment, but they have not replied.

The biggest problem for me is the layout of the low octave keys as shown on the picture comparing AE-10 vs. AE-20. You need to have a very long left thumb to reach the low octave keys and still use your other left hand fingers accurately for the other keys! Moreover, the key travel when pressed is not consistent for all keys. Roland should have kept the old AE-10 keywork design.
