My son has started making his own gaming pieces and landscapes. He has been very interested in various products to augment his collection of airbrush paints and tools. I got this for him to play with. BOX The box these come in is pretty sturdy. He can keep the paints in the box when not in use which he is very happy with. PAINT TYPES So far he said that all of the different types of paints are a really nice assortment. He especially likes the metallic, neon, and iridescent colors to add highlights and some interesting textures to his work. PERFORMANCE These paints perform well so far. They are nicely pigmented and they work well as long as he either adds thinner or flow product that he has for airbrush that prevents tip dry outs. The coverage is good and he did not have any issues with dripping or incomplete coverage. THINNER AND CLEANER The size bottles of the thinner and cleaner are excellent. They are not tiny like so many of the different sets we have tried. That is a big selling point. IS THIS WORTH IT? I have to say for the price, this set of paints is a bit nicer than many of the ones we have tried, but I do recommend a vortex mixer if you don't already have one. In recommend that for all airbrush paints, though, not just these. THE BOTTOM LINE This is a great set of paints with nice variety. Be prepared to use the thinner or a flow additive to prevent tip dry outs. MY RATING FIVE STARS so far. This allows for some nice variety of paint applications. There is plenty here to work with and experiment with for different effects. It would not hurt to get a bottle of flow control for airbrush to have on hand so you do not have such fast dry time.

I decided to use these to do some foundation colors on a miniature I printed recently, and to test out how 'ready to use' it was I used one of the smaller needle airbrushes I have. For the most part, it does work right out of the bottle at about 25 psi with a small needle, but I did notice some tip drying as well, which wasn't super bad but I did have to wipe it off regularly (and yes the air never stopped flowing). The other thing I noticed is that some of the colors are more on the transparent end than opaque. I had used some black to do some recesses and was going to do a light spray over at an angle to keep it dark, but I ended up more of a purple than a blue. Nothing I can't fix but I didn't see anything on the bottle specifying the transparency. The flow was good and it painted on easily with a good dry time, and outside of some tip drying I'm mostly pleased with them.

Great selection of colors, and they all mix pretty true (I hate when you mix blue and yellow and get a brown green - which has happened with other paints.) Opacity on some of the colors is a bit less than I would expect, and it's a bit viscous right out of the bottle - but it's a ton of colors and a bit of thinner and cleaner. Can't complain - but docked a star as I would have preferred the mix be a bit thinner.

Not bad at all! I am fairly new to airbrush painting as a whole but I have tried a few proper airbrush paints and also thinned down my own acrylics and used liquid acrylics as well. I feel I have a decent understand what is. good or bad and so my opinion of these is above average. They perform, are opaque and mix beautifully. I havent had any glooping or drying on the tip and the included thinner and cleaner both perform well. I am not yet paint actual models I have mostly using ir for stenciling and priming 3d printed items for painting with acrylic pens

I bought a similar set from a name brand manufacturer and was curious how these would match up. I haven't actually painted with them yet, but they seem very compirable. By sampling drops of each on an unfinished surface, the colors are vibrant and consistent. The consistency is good. I don't think they'll require much thinning. The variety of colors is great! An advantage that this set has over the others is that it comes with a bottle of thinner and one of a cleaner. Overall, I would have to say that it's a pretty good deal for all you get.

This is an all-in-one paint kit for airbrushing! It's got a ton of colors, and the colors are very thick and nicely pigmented. The paints, thinner & cleaner work great on our cordless airbrush, and we've been able to make some great art by practicing on burlap fabrics. It's also easy to get all the items back into the box for storage, which I appreciate very much. Good variety, good value!
