This is my first BTF board and I'm really glad I went this route. It makes my build so neat and tidy. I do love how there are heatsinks for all the SSDs you could possibly put onto the motherboard. I think there's plenty of clearance between the socket and the RAM slots. There's plenty of clearance between the CPU AIO's hoses and the first RAM slot on the right. I had no trouble getting anything onto the board and there are plenty of accessories for mounting various length SSDs. The retention mechanism for the PCIE 5x16 slot is a nice touch and doesn't require a button to release the GPU. You just have to pivot into the slot in a certain way and it just works. It has that high power BTF slot if you use a ROG BTF GPU. I wish other manufacturers would adopt this standard. You still have to connect the 12vhpower cable from your PSU to the back of the board in order to use the BTF power slot. Out of the box, the motherboard had no problems recognizing my 96GB kit (2 x 48GB sticks). I did flash the BIOS after first bootup and that happened without any issues. One quirk to note: I didn't plan on using wifi so I never connected the included antenna, but you still have to connect it in order to use Bluetooth. I thought the board's Bluetooth connectivity was just lousy until I did a quick Google search about it. ... show more

This is a very premium motherboard; even the box it comes in exudes quality. I bought it on sale during Black Friday and I don't regret it. It has a lot of overclocking features and allows you to connect your GPU without visible cables on the front but you need an Asus BTF GPU and you would also lose the ability to mount your GPU vertically. The bulkier cables that go to the motherboard are completely hidden when connected at the back which gives it a very clean look but you need a compatible PC case. If you're using it with a new AMD CPU with 3D V-Cache technology, you have to update the BIOS to be able to use that feature; otherwise, you won't get the maximum performance out of your CPU.
