These boots are simply beautiful. The leather is so perfect, and the color of the leather is unique. The size (snug) was ordered correctly but they seem a little tight. This will give in time with the stretching of the leather so all in all they are fine. The stitching on these boots shows the total craftsmanship. I would recommend going down at least a half size as mine ran big. Boots are comfortable and break in well. It takes a couple weeks to loosen them up so don't judge them until you give them a chance. They are semi stiff when purchased, but still comfortable. I would buy again. Thanks Update, typically wear a 10D. I went through 3 pairs of boots to get to the right size. 91/2 regular. The wide is more like an extra wide and the sizing is 1/2 size too big. I would go down a half size and order a regular if you are a wide. Thanks. ... show more

I like a Wellington boot for summer, and I traditionally buy Red Wing American made Wellingtons even though the price is over twice that of these Rocky's . This time I went cheap, and this time it worked. These are pretty good boots, and a real value at 99.99. I did have to get a half size larger than what I normally do to get a good fit. They are good for walking. I don't think I would use them for horseback riding with a saddle as the sole is not made for a stirrup even though the literature implied to me that they are suitable. Maybe just me, but I assure you, you only need to get a boot caught in a stirrup once. Then you start paying attention to your footwear before you mount. But for a comfortable walking boot they are a real bargain. ... show more

I bought these for my husband in May 2021 because we bought our first house & knew he'd be getting dirty & walking through the creek a lot. They have definitely held up! He ALMOST made it to the 2 year mark. They are just now starting to split at the sole. He has walked through the creek, gotten them so dirty and wet, wears them every day in mud, digging holes and just working outside around our house in the woods...they have been ABUSED.. He says they're comfortable, true to size & definitely worth the money! I never leave a review years later but these are worth it. These pics are the boots today. ... show more

First, once you get the boot on, it fits well and seems tough. The problem is that you can't get them on! When you buy a size 12w boot, you expect the whole boot to be a 12w. However, with this horrible design, the top of the boot is only a size 10 or smaller. I can barely get my toes in the top and then it takes tremendous effort to go any further. I'm 65 with arthritis. The second time I finally pulled the boots on, I injured one of my arthritis finger which is now painful and swollen. Taking them off is only a little better because I use a boot jack. However, taking them off also takes off your socks and the top layer of skin! Boots should not injure the wearer! When I return from the horse barn, I don't want to track debris into the house so I remove my boots in the mud room. This usually occurs multiple times during the day. Not with these boots! They are so hard to put on that I dread it and avoid it. They are about 90% useless. I hate the hassle of returning but I will have to return these. ... show more
