    • Not a 800 watt Pair, more like 200 watt. As marked on Speakers
Speakers are great sounding at lower levels. The Speakers are marked on back 200 watts. Will say a true 800 watt system at 30 to 40% will distort the Speakers. And I have 3 sets of these matching. Along with 2, 2500 watt kickers. But at 30% crystal clear sound great bass. Just wish they could reach the 800 watt as Pair as says. I would say more like the markings of 200 watts as Pair. ... show more

These Rockville speakers are a Jem. I got the 8 inchers and boy do they crank it up. For once I can say I would have paid more if need be. I hung them three feet from the ceiling in the corners of my living room and the sound is unbelievable. They are the closets things I have ever come across to the best set of speakers ever made for home use: The Bose 901's from the 80s and 90s (for which I had a pair). Don't be put off by the karaoke angle that the video portrays. These are great speakers for any home stereo with at least a 100-watt receiver. So, if you want to rock out or just have great sounding music at any level, I highly recommend. 5 Stars! (Note: Don't cheap out on the speaker wire, you'll thank yourself for it. 16-gauge minimum). ... show more

You can BELIEVE the HYPE on these BAD BOYS. I am pushing 400 watts to them in parallel wiring. Jeez what a sound its so clean you think your at the movie theater.
