I think I actually bought this one as a returned item. It was like new. I went on a trip, checked it coming and going. Direct flights. I didn't use any locking mechanism. (it comes with one) It stayed closed, was the correct size to be allowed by airlines. Very light weight. I'm not too hard on things. I can't speak for the airlines. It came back like new. The extender zipper worked and added a bit more room. I actually took a large, 14lb. electric foot massager. It was a gift I was taking (random) I shoved it in there with no packaging and it made it unscathed! ... show more

The set of 3 bags came as advertised. The casing was a bit less strong than others I have touched but it did feel that it would hold up just fine. The luggage came without those TSA locks, but did come with combo locks that could be attached to the zipper. Better yet, the zipper could be hidden in the area between the wheels which meant it could not catch on something when handled. You could also put your own tsa locks on the zippers if you so chose. The bags were expandable. There were two wheels on every wheel spindle that seemed you would be ok chould one wheel fall off, although the wheels seemed to be strong to begin with. So I already owned the small carry on version of this suitcase and have been using it for several years now. So of course when I needed a larger one for my upcoming trip I went looking for my suitcases big brother! I am VERY HAPPY with it. It is exactly like my carry on one in every way. So I know that this one should definitely be just as good. I like the hardeness of the luggage because we all know how TSA and Airlines handles our luggage I had my luggage packed and Secure order with the inside straps. Can I utilize one side zipper to make sure that if I didn't pack it completely full. It was still secure down and it worked perfect.

It was a while before I actually used this suitcase... but when I did, I loved it. It is big and roomy. Lots of room for my things. I love the color. It stands out from the rest of the bags, and is easy to grab and go. I do have an identifier tag on it... but quite honestly, I have yet to see a bag this color at the same time and location. At first I thought it was too big... but if it is, there is room for things that I might pick up while on my trip. I love the wheels on the case, which makes it so easy to maneuver.
