I was willing to try these on our trip with Southwest Airlines, but 2 of the 4 pcs would need checked. It looked like the 2 smaller ones & tote were small enough to carry on, but with the handle and wheels the 24" was actually 25.5" tall. The back is thin as to be expected at this price. It did have an interior liner to keep stuff falling out if it the outer back ripped during transit. The compartments we're large and the front was really nice, but with .3 out of every 100,000 (30,000) checked bags reporting theft, we need to carry on as much as possible. This luggage just wouldn't allow that. I would also worry it'd be easy to cut into. The tote was roomier than expected. All toiletries would most likely fit inside. ... show more

We bought this luggage set for our first trip to Las Vegas and they worked out wonderfully. They were easy to maneuver, and the handles could be lifted up and down with one hand. The two larger bags exceeded my expectations and were larger than I expected and held everything we needed which lessoned the luggage we had to bring with us. These were very light weight themselves and have nice zipper pockets on the inside to keep things in place that you don't want to move around in your suitcase. We chose the orange color, and I would definitely recommend going with a darker color if you are going to be flying with this luggage, by the time we got home it had gotten pretty dirty. I was able to clean it up some, but there was certain stains and spots I wasn't able to remove. ... show more

Bought this set as we do not travel by air a lot and wanted strength, value and lightweight convenience in a 4-piece set. canvas like material with multi compartments to stash stuff, Sizes conform to TSA. Extendable handle and wheels for carrying/rolling. These are soft side and held up fine on domestic flights, although now dirty from airlines I can scrub the dirt and air dry the canvas. Bought the BLUE set, as in a royal blue…. Unless we got the wrong color, these are NOT the blue shown in the pictures. Other than that, great price, good sizes.
