Not to be one of those “I never leave reviews” kind of people, but I really never leave reviews unless I just LOVE a product. And let me just say it has been such a life saver. Background: right when my baby turned 5.5 months old he decided he didn’t want to nap on his crib anymore. He went from napping 1-2 hrs solid in his crib (black out, white noise, all that), to screaming and just not napping every time we put him down. He started to *only* want to nap either in our arms or in the car for about 30 min.The car was his favorite though, the vibration got him so sleepy and kept him asleep. My husband and I would literally drive all over the place for every nap, every day, for about a week straight since we were so desperate for him to fall asleep (an overtired baby is horrible to deal with as you probably know, so we did what it took). However it really started wearing on us. So I figured there had to be a way to mimic the vibration of the car. I looked this up and found it, ordered it, got here 2 days later and now my life is is a million times better!! I take it with me everywhere now even if we’re not home for nap time or or crib isn’t around. I can hook it on the car seat or put it under a pillow on the bed so he feels the vibration etc. Anyway, if you’re desperate, give it a try, I’m so thankful for this thing right now!! ... show more

This is a wonderful product, the design is nice. It’s an egg shaped ball that attaches to the top of the stroller handle. It’s easily removed and put on. To me it’s worth the money because it helps my daughter stay asleep while we go in public. Everyone knows how it is when you go out in public and your baby is overtired and needs to rest but will easily wake up if you leave them stationary in a restaurant or in public. This allows me to eat, talk, get whatever I need done while keeping the stroller close.     • Attachment is so annoying

I wish I could have actually used this product but it’s way too much of a pain to attach to the stroller. It needs to be charged frequently which means it needs to be unattached frequently - the bracket it come with is the most annoying attachment I’ve ever seen for a baby item. Theres not way I’m fussing around with attaching, unattaching and plugging in to charge in the house multiple times per week so I only used this with both my kids a few times. ... show more

    • Mounted it to a bassinet and it works wonders!

We were looking for a way of rocking baby's bassinet at night, without having to spend $1,600 on a Snoo. We gave Rockit a try and it's just fantastic. Attaching it to the bassinet was no problem at all (as long as the bassinet has some sort of an upright rod to attach to, you're good). I was initially worried whether this is safe to use for a bassinet, in that the product description only mentions strollers, but the Rockit is not in the bassinet itself and to the best of my knowledge I can't see why it would be unsafe (the rocking is strong enough for baby to fall asleep but certainly not so strong that baby would be turned, destabilized etc). You can check the guidelines yourself but I couldn't see any sleep rule that would be violated by attaching this to the outside a bassinet. Now we calm him for a few minutes, put him in the bassinet, turn on the Rockit and go to sleep. It's magical! So far the battery life also hasn't been bad, we've been using it for about a week. But that seems like a common problem based on reviews, so we're cognizant of that. Still worth it for a good night's sleep even if it becomes a problem :). Snoo & co might still make sense for you if your baby has real trouble sleeping, but for us, the Rockit is perfect, and only a tiny fraction of the price.     • Good Product With Some Drawbacks

Okay so to be clear, this thing is great and I would recommend it. HOWEVER, there are some drawbacks to be aware of. First, it shuts off after an hour. I would much rather prefer that it continue to go until I turn it off or the battery die. My baby has woken up from naps shortly after it turns off and I believe the naps would have been longer had the RockIt kept rocking. Now I watch the clock and at the 50 minute mark I go and turn it off and turn it back on again hoping that the interruption doesn't wake my baby and that method has been working relatively well. The other thing to note with the RockIt is that it loses strength. I bought mine at the end of December 2024 and by the beginning of this month (August 2025) it just doesn't have nearly as much rock in it. I would say that the highest setting now is what the lowest setting used to be like when it was newer. It's well loved and well used in my household I just hoped that for $75 it would have lasted at least a year. Good product but it does have some drawbacks. ... show more

This probably deserves a 5 star rating cause it works perfectly and I'm using it for something it's not listed for... let me explain. We are first time parents and when we cam home form the hospital we were scared to put our son down lol. So we put him in a vibrating chair on our bed in-between us so we wouldn't roll over him. We were both happy we could sleep and we didn't know this was going to set us up for a struggle 5 months later when we decided he needs to sleep in his bassinet. He would only sleep sitting in something or on someone and never on his back in a crib. We got a bassinet that vibrates and we realize he just needed something to constantly be running otherwise he would wake up an hour or so after it was shut off. So I was trying to find som that ran longer than a few min so he would stay asleep longer. Now for the rockit. I found this and was desperate because we have a trip coming up and we can't bring his chair and he will have a pack and play where we're going. Last night was the first night we used it and I'm truly grateful for this product. He slept in his bassinet all night from 10 to 7 and only woke up maybe 3-4 times. I would just roll over turn this back on and he would stop fussing almost immediately and go back to sleep. Now for the reason for 4 stars and not 5. I wish they would have made the option to leave it on constantly or to pick a longer time setting other than that this is perfect and love that it can recharge. Hopefully this will help some one who is on the fence of buying this because it is $65 or this would be a great gift for someone. ... show more

I was skeptical about getting this for my baby since it’s a little pricey and there is so much different things out there and not everything works but it was worth it! It’s not heavy to have on anything. It’s easy to use just click the bottom and control the speed of how fast you want it to rock with a dial on the bottom. I have it mainly on my babies stroller on the top of the handle and my baby loves to stare at it and it’s a rocket so it looks cool. It comes in handy when going out to eat and when in the car, my baby does not like it when the car stops but if I have it on the lowest setting she does not cry at stops ... show more
