I love the color of my chairs. I bought two to go on my porch. They remind me of the rocking chair my grandmother had when I was a little girl. They are very comfortable to sit in although I will get seat cushions eventually. I put one together myself, and it took me sometime before realizing I had an electric screwdriver. If I would have used that from the beginning it would have taken less time. My husband put the second one together when it was delivered. It took him only thirty minutes. You do get the screws and a small manual screwdriver. If you purchase these chairs don't even try putting them together manually If you have an electric screwdriver use it, if not use your own screwdriver, because the one they give you is a hassle. It's a good looking chair and was easy to assemble. You might want to add some strong adhesive in the joints as they will probably pull apart while rocking. I used a dap of Liquid Nails and now the chair is good and tight.

This rocker was packed well. The instructions were excellent. The finish is very nice although some paint chipped when inserting the buttons. I caulked and painted. Comfortable and pretty and I love rocking in it. This eighty year old woman did it herself!!!!

One of the chair's paint job was perfect. The other one began to flake off within a month. The advantage to these is their price...you would pay a lot for these if you got a better brand. So I will just paint the flaky one in the spring. If this would bother you, I wouldn't get the chair.

This is a VERY nice rocker. The color is beautiful, it's got a wide seat so it's comfortable to sit in, and it's very sturdy when assembled and everything is tight. Plan to have a large phillips-head screwdriver. The tool provided won't do the job on the screws it's intended for. There are caps to cover the screw holes. The fit is very tight. I found having a rubber mallet to set them worked well. Resist the urge to glue them in. The screws will loosen over time and with use and you'll want to be able to tighten it back up. My wife and I both gave it a test drive and loved it. Can't wait for the 2nd to arrive. ... show more

    • Met my needs for a decent price
After struggling I managed to get this rocker together. It really is a two-person job; one to hold the pieces together and one to install the screws. This said I'm not sure there is more that could be done. There's nothing really comfortable about sitting directly on a wood surface, and I'm having trouble finding rocking chair pads I like. If it had a slightly curved back that might help. I was able to get this rocker at a decent sale price and with my Amazon rewards made it even better. If you can get this rocker for closer to $75 it's a good buy. ... show more

Very solid and nice & large for a big guy who carries a lot of stuff in his pockets to sit down in comfort without dragging the arms. And my little woman was able to put them together by herself which made her proud. They look real nice on our new Victorian front porch.
