My Rocketbook has changed my work life - seriously. Instead of taking notes on paper and trying to find a specific entry later, I can now search the Rocketbook scans that I have filed. I use this product along with MS OneNote and here's how: 1) I attend a meeting/have a discussion with others and take handwritten notes along the way. (I use the Rocketbook title format so my notes are all titled/dated accurately). 2) Once done, I pick the appropriate Rocketbook category on the bottom of the page and scan with the app. 3) The settings I selected send my scans to my email address, and some go to MS One Note depending on the category I pick. NOTE: I picked to get 2 scans: the actual image plus the text). [you have many options > EverNote, OneDrive, email, Box, etc.) 4) I can easily see what was discussed by Meeting/Date, etc. and can search online for a word or phrase. NO MORE LOOKING THROUGH OLD NOTEBOOKS - WELCOME TO THE NEXT CENTURY, FOLKS! Once you try it and determine your best way to use it for your workday, you'll be sad you hadn't started earlier. :) (My one caveat - I find the included pen(s) to be much too fine (thin) and I ordered thin dry erase Frixion markers for a thinker line.) ... show more

For decades I used paper note pads for calls and demo planning. Going through 8-10 pads a year. The problem is going back and finding my notes in a reasonable time. Now I take notes, mark the page, use the app to copy and store a digital copy. Now I can find my notes much faster. My only knock is cleaning the pages. Sometimes I take 10 pages a day and run out of pages. I only use one side so I guess I could use both. The cleaning takes time to clean and dry each page. I started using Rocketbook around two weeks ago. Since I have been already completely moved to digital (I don't keep any paper in my life), I was initially hesitant that it will be useful for me (after all, Evernote which I am using every minute already has these features). But already two weeks, I see myself using Rocketbook all the time. Just the idea that at the end of the day I can erase my temporary notes and on the next day I can start all over on a clear page make me feel more accomplished. Regarding quality, it is not exactly like writing on paper, but writing is actually not bad at all. After being wiped out with a little bit of water, the page is absolutely clean. Note, these are notebooks for temporary notes that are supposed to be erased or stored online, but not to be kept in the notebook. Scanning is very fast and easy, much easier than on Evernote. I personally transfer everything to Evernote and Dropbox, but the Rocketbook software is good for storing and organizing notes. Handwriting recognition is amazing (it can even read my awful handwriting!). All in all, I recommend Rocketbook, at least to try; in my case, it is very useful. My partner let me borrow his Rocketbook to test out before I picked up one for myself, and it didn't take me long to get the Flip. It's a great, affordable option for sustainable notebooks. I'm a lefty, so I prefer this top-bound model over the traditional left binding. The notebook is sturdy enough to write on my lap, and it's easy to clean. The ink shows up decently well on the scans, even with my mediocre phone camera. Black ink shows up best, it seems, and that's what's included with this order. I use my Flip for journaling, meetings, and gaming notes, and I clean it all about once every Moon. This keeps the clutter down and ideas fresh, as I tend to revisit my notes more since I go back through to scan them before cleaning. ... show more

The main reason I like this notebook is it's great for left handers like me. I do wish I had the option of all pages being dot grid. I own about 6 Rocket Notebooks and this has become my favorite. (Yes, I take a lot of notes.)
