The media could not be loaded. I originally purchased this fabric because I wanted make reusable, cloth Christmas gift wrappings. I knew they would look a bit "farmhouse" and primitive but I was fine with that. It works well with my vintage decor. I ended up loving it for wrapping material. I did not wash it and it is very stiff with starch but that worked great for wrapping. Some I made into flat wrappings and others into gift bags. The red color is perfect...a true medium cherry red...not scarlet....not wine. The white threads are really cream as you can see compared to the white crocheted throw. It is weighty and feels very durable. Even if I find I need to wash these wrappings from time to time, I know they will last for **years**. I even lined a wool cross-body bag I made with this fabric and the tight, heavy weave helped give the bag some body/structure. The stripe is truly woven in, not printed. I've now purchased MORE of this fabric...I don't even know what I'll make with it but it is so attractive, durable, and reasonably priced, I couldn't pass on the opportunity to have more in my stash. As I said, I haven't washed it so I can't speak to its color-fastness or shrinkage but, I suspect those won't be real issues. ... show more

I love the fabric, quality and price. The shipping was fast although during the holidays I didn't expect it. And I appreciated that, but sometimes there are hiccups. Not a bad thing for me, but a short time after ordering I received a notice the package was running late and I could request a refund...I contacted amazon to let the seller know I had my fabric, and all is good. This fabric is beautiful. I used this to make a garland for my Christmas tree. This is a high quality fabric and the colors are so pretty. If you like a farmhouse look this fabric is great for Christmas decor. I made a tree with it as well. Definitely would purchase again.

We have mini blinds here , but we all know that’s not enough privacy. So , i planned to make a Roman shade-not difficult-the question of which fabric to get. Well, i thought about ticking, so i got it. I pre-shrunk it as usual for Roman shades, it shrunk some-not too bad; used muslin to line it. It cut well, stitched fine, and we think it looks good. Very nice quality..a bit stiff but I need it for leaders for my quilting frame so that’s no bother. If I was sewing with it I’d wash it first to remove some of the sizing.
