After making several of these I can say with 100% certainty that this was by far the easiest one to build and a great one to start out with. Looks fantastic and it compliments my other miniatures. Now if they would only come up with a neighborhood bar/saloon miniature...hint, hint.

    • Easy to put together
This is one of the easiest miniatures that I have done so far. I love that it's a garage. It's different from most that I have found. All of the pieces are pretty plug and play. You just use the double sided sticky tape that is included to keep things in place. I'll admit I also used glue. But that's just because I wanted everything to stay in place. It also comes with stickers so you don't have to worry about gluing the small labels in place. It does require 2 AAA batteries if you want the light to work. But that's not necessary.     • Fun & Pretty Easy to Build
I had wanted to do sets like these for a long time, and finally started actually doing them this past year. I don't have a lot of time, so I prefer the ones that are less involved (for now). This set is not one where you have to paint, cut, glue, and assemble every little thing from scratch. It is a lot easier than that. It's a good beginner set, and also a good set for someone like me who just doesn't have the time/patience to do a harder set. I really love this brand; It's always good quality. I didn't have any issues with this set. The little garage is so cute, and I like how some of the things "work" like drawers opening and closing. I love all of the little details like the plant, the tool boxes, and the tools. I look at reviews a lot while shopping. I hope this review helps! ... show more

    • Easy to Assemble Detailed Diorama of Garage Workshop
WHAT: ROBOTIME Rolife DIY Miniature House Kit - Garage Workshop FOR WHO: * Teens and Adults who enjoy crafting and miniatures. * This is a relatively easy DIY diorama so beginners will be able to do this too. WHAT's GREAT ABOUT THIS KIT: 😀 So many details! Little doors & doors that open! Lots of accessories! 😀 For advanced crafters, this is easily customizable 😀 Great concept for automobile lovers 😀 The little light looks so realistic 😀 Rolife is my favorite brand for these kits 😀 Good sturdy pieces, high quality set WHAT YOU NEED: * Nail file type sanding block or small bit of sand paper. A tiny piece of sandpaper is thrown in but easier to use a sanding block. * While double sided tape is included, I prefer to use my B-7000 bc it has a tiny applicator & dries fast. TIPS: * Take your time and gently press on the pieces to remove them. Some are fragile. I managed to not to break any by just taking my time and working pieces out gently. * Sand off any splinters before placing pieces. * Think before you glue. Once it's glued in place - it's not coming off. Read a few steps ahead. Don't glue until absolutely necessary. A little drop of glue is enough. ... show more

... from Rolife (which it says on the box!) Rolife miniature scenes and book nooks are about the best out there, and this garage scene was not an exception. It took about eight hours to assemble completely, including adding some extra touches - like making the floor appropriately grubby with craft paint and Mod Podge, and adding a 'puddle' by the caution-wet-floor sign. All but two of the floor and wall elements had the background already laminated onto them, instead of having to cut out and glue paper to them. All of those parts fit precisely, and installing the one electrical light was a breeze. I especially liked that the instruction booklet began with the large structure first - and then the smaller elements, which is a change from their usual system. All the elements - the tool racks, shelving and cupboard elements, boxes, tool kits, etc. were either assembled from ready-cut and painted pieces, or from clearly labeled laser-cut sheets of high-quality plywood. The laser-cut elements popped out readily, and without damage to them. (This is sadly not always the case with such kits made from poor-quality wood.) Those paper elements were printed on card-stock, and already perfed for easy separation and folding. As this is a garage workshop, there are plenty of name-brand elements printed on sticky paper to apply to surfaces. I think the red tool-cart was especially clever, what with having four little caster-wheels. Everything was clearly labeled and nicely packaged - it was a positive pleasure to assemble this scene. ... show more

    • Way too easy...
Not a fan that the latest products released have all been getting easier to build. I miss the older releases in which one had to take their time and skill to build out the individual pieces. This kit even had the structural graphics printed on each wood piece, rather than one having to paste them on themselves. Not a fan. ... show more

I love putting these kits together with my kids. This one took us 2 days ( my 4 year old "helped" this time). Everything needed is in the box. Unfortunately the LED doesn't work, I'll have to replace that soon. I opted to use my own glue for some of the items and the double sided tape (included) for what wasn't glued. The ladder did come broken, I was able to use lots of glue and piece it back together -ish. I removed 2 stars for the broken pieces and the non working LED. Other than the light and ladder, everything was greatm I will continue to order these kits from this supplier. ... show more

    • Very cute
This was really fun. I normally do book nooks so it was fun to do more of a diorama. The detail is good and theres enough space and pieces you can totally make this your own. We moved pieces around and added some other hand made pieces and it turned put great. The wood was decent quality and I only had breakage on a couple pieces that were really thin. Overall a cute, unique concept that would make a thoughtful gift. If I had a suggestion, it would be to use very fast drying glue and take the time to sand all the connection points. ... show more
