Excellent size for a water tank on espresso machines. Photo is a sample installed to a Saeco Granbaristo Avanti water tank. The machine uses so many water cycles for cleaning and it becomes a pain to replenish the water every time so I connected it to the reverse osmosis system. This float valve solved my problem.     • Works well, could use an improvement
4 stars because there isn't a good way to tighten the fitting onto a flexible copper line. It also didn't come with the insert to clamp onto a plastic line. Otherwise it does a very good job at keeping the water in my chicken coop at the perfect level without leaking.

Does that I expected. With 60psi feed it doesn’t leak. Float doesn’t stick.Stainless and poly. Nothing to corrode.

Used this to top off a water bucket for a chicken water dispenser. Small but tough little thing. Like the fact it’s NSF approved. Used 1/4” poly line instead of copper for flexibility. Would be helpful if the included a plastic crush washer.

I'm using the valve to automatically fill the water deposit in my ESE pod espresso machine. The water deposit is small and I had to be aware of keeping the reservoir full. The installation is not difficult and actually the harder part was to drill the hole on the water reservoir (I used a Dremel). This is one of the smallest floats I have found. It is quite well made and perfect for fitting inside a decorative fountain. Attached to a 1/4 inch hose from the irrigation system, it is perfect for maintaining a water level in the fountain indefinitely. I have used floats for swamp coolers in the past.
