When planning a recent cross-country trip, I decided I needed a medical info/emergency contact bracelet for those times I might not have other ID on my person. However, I almost always wear my Fitbit Alta wristband, and would also be wearing acupressure wrist bands for motion sickness while traveling--so the last thing I needed was another bracelet. The Road ID Sidekick was the perfect solution. It fits perfectly on my Fitbit wristband, is unobtrusive yet attractive and is very well-made. Although I ordered the smaller width, I was able to get my pertinent information in 5 full lines: my full name and nickname, my hometown, my medical conditions (which took two lines), and my emergency contact name and phone number. The printing is clear and easily readable. I was a little concerned that I might find it uncomfortable to wear my Fitbit with the Sidekick on it (as the little elastic straps that hold it onto the wristband stick out on the inside and could rub against your skin), but there was no discomfort whatsoever. The only times I even realize I'm wearing it is when someone notices it and asks me where I found such a cool thing! I would like to add that the customer service at Road ID is outstanding. While in the middle of my vacation, I happened to notice a tiny but significant misspelling in the medical info on my Sidekick--and when I got back home and checked my original order, I saw that I'd made the typo when I placed the order, and hadn't caught it when I received the item and installed it onto the Fitbit wristband. I contacted the seller to see if there was a way this could be corrected and if not, to order a new one. They immediately sent me a new one with the corrected info, free of charge. That's some kind of incredible customer service! I highly recommend this product and Road ID in general.

I use this for a medical alert tag on my watchband. I ordered the 13 mm size for my women's Fitbit Charge 4. It fits the band without slipping around. I don't notice the tag's loops and haven't had any rubbing or chaffing from them. To get the info displayed in the way I wanted, I simply entered my text for each line into the fields provided (part of the customization that you do once the item is in your shopping cart). I ignored the original names of those fields (address, contact name, etc.). It worked just fine and I didn't have to use data that I didn't want on the tag. So, nicely customizable. The tag itself feels sturdy and well made. It's not flimsy. The engraving is really clear, even though it's pretty small (thanks to Chuck at Roadid, who likes to work with lasers.) The tag has added a slight bit of weight to my watchband, but I'm OK with that; it beats wearing an additional piece of medical alert jewelry. It's discreet, which is what I wanted. Medical and EMT folks will know to look on wrists for alerts. So far (week one), a good quality product that was easy to customize, quickly delivered, and that looks and functions as advertised.

This is a well thought out product. I needed some sort of ID to carry with me when I am out running or exercising. I have tried ID bracelets and necklaces in the past and find them annoying. The bouncing around from their inherent loose fit characteristic. This ID is specifically designed for my FitBit and fits on the band. It is unobtrusive and easy to read and clearly visible as the material contrasts against the black watch band. Since it is attached to the watch band it is with me every time I head out because I always wear my FitBit to count steps...and tell time. Subsequently, the ID is with me whenever I wear my FitBit regardless of when and why. It is just a really well thought out product and totally meets my needs.

This is the best medical ID purchase I have made. I don’t like the bracelets or necklaces. Have tried several and they get caught in my hair, interfere with life in general. THIS is an amazing idea - something that slides onto the fitbit. I tried a video to show you but don’t want to change all of my settings just to allow Amazon to use my microphone - so that’s not happening. But the ID is very snug, very secure. It does not slide around at all. I can’t tell any difference with or without it on my fitbit. It’s so secure. And if it ever becomes unreadable for any reason they will replace it for free, lifetime gaurantee. I am so glad that I happened upon this company. I was on a cold alergy support page and someone mentioned it - so glad. Now I know it’s always on me, even when swimming or snorkeling - I don’t have to take it off. Ever. Except when I am charging my Fitbit! I also keep the old ones I don’t like just hooked to things like one is hooked to a purse strap and one is hooked to my wallet but that didn’t make me feel secure enough. And while I chose not to add my name to the tag, I did choose my emergency contact info and hope that they can get plenty of info from the phone number if needed about my identification. After reviewing other brands and comments, I selected Road ID Sidekick for Fitbit and I am so pleased with it. The 19mm women's size is perfect for my Fitbit Versa 3. It slips on easily with the bands and could be worn above or below the watch face (I put below). Five rows of data allowed me to put blood type, 2 ICE contacts, name/age and 2 lines of urgent, specific health info. It arrived quickly, accurate, and nicely packaged. Road ID provides a lifetime guarantee and as a personal touch, there was a note from employee Becky! I have a Firefighter nephew who indicated it would be great if everyone had this level of info on them at an emergency call out. This would be a very thoughtful gift for someone in your life to provide name and ICE details even if there are no medical specifics.
