I bought this to replace my folding cane. It folds easily, is sturdy, and looks good. My only problem is with the bushings between sections. When I first used it the cane was quit sturdy, but every few days the joi ts would get wobbly and I have to reset the bushings that are working out. Bought it to help in my recovery after knee surgery. I liked the portability of it. However, the cane lacked some stability where each of the collapsible pieces connects.
