I almost didn't buy this because of some of the critical reviews but i decided to take a leap since i was shopping for colorless lip balm (and not for a lip color) and none of the reviews were for this specific one! Turns out it is wonderful and super hydrating - it feels smooth and buttery. Gives a subtle satin sheen and is a miracle on chapped lips.
