These radios are very reliable. We use them on our 80-acre farm, and the reception is excellent—I can hear everyone clearly. The only time the signal weakens a bit is when there are hills in between. We purchased a total of six radios, and all of them are working great. The battery life lasts about 2 to 3 days, depending on how much we use them. ... show more

I was excited to get these, being that I been using Motorola Walkie Talkies on jobs sights but for years. The build quality is great, the sound is clear, it’s a budget friendly model. Unlike the CP200d I use at work and get communication up to10 miles in range on, these RMM2050 walkie talkies fell short on the range. Couldn’t get any communication past 210 yards in a clear area with some thin brush. For that reason I’ll be returning this product. ... show more

They work great and able to program to channel at work. Problem is every time you turn them on, they have to be programed every time. Also, they only catch transmissions at close range, perhaps 20 or 25 yards at most. My place of work is 1 story high and far less than a half mile in circumference. Other than that they're good, solid, sturdy and battery lasts a long time. At an average 8 to 9 hours a day use, battery lasts up to 2 & 1/2 days before needing charge. ... show more
