Update: I'm at 3,700 miles and it's already time to replace the chain and sprockets. I put this on my 2001 F650gs. It must be made of a very low tensile strength metal as it requires adjustment about every other day, sometimes daily. It has about 2,600 miles on it now, I think I'll be lucky to get 5,000 miles out of it. It also rusts super easy, even in the dry desert with ample regular lubrication with maxima chain wax it is covered in rust. I got about 15k miles out of my last mid-grade o-ring chain and this cost about 1/3 the price so in that regards maybe it's not so bad, but it's gonna take my sprockets with it so it's probably worth the money to just pay the big bucks for a better chain, and as a bonus you won't be adjusting your chain every day. ... show more
