Wildflower curtains offer energy savings. I rated these 5 stars for “sheerness” because they are NOT sheer and that’s what I wanted. If there had been a rating scale for density I would have rated them for that. I got the wildflower pattern that looks like an illustration from a Beatrix Potter story book. I grew up in Oregon playing outside a lot and the illustrations are of actual wildflowers such as thistle and Queen Anne’s lace which I find charming. The curtains are woven but a nice dense material so not great if you want lightweight ones that let the sunlight through. These are not exactly opaque, but they do offer quite a bit of shade which keeps the house cooler during the summer and warmer, I imagine, during the winter. So, I am picky about curtains. I like high-quality fabrics in solid colors or simple gradients. Typically nothing like this. Not super busy designs, florals or patterns. I ordered this because my husband thought the florals were nice—not tacky like some—and I agreed. I expected very thin, cheap fabric and was blown away by how high quality it was out of the package. And the design is even prettier when you see it in person. I can’t stop staring at this curtain in my kitchen. It really brightened it up. I would absolutely recommend this. These curtain are a very soft fabric and the pattern is just so sweet. I got these for the bathroom and they provide much needed privacy. I took this picture right after hanging.; they came out of the package looking this way; not 1 wrinkle. These would look beautiful in a window that you kept them closed; as you can see the pattern matches up perfectly, but they do look so nice opened.
