We live on a few acres with a mix of grass, gravel, and dirt trails. We bought two DK-12s for our 6 and 7-year-old boys, and the battery life has honestly blown us away. They ride these things constantly – exploring every corner of our property, chasing each other around – and we're getting a solid 90 minutes of continuous use, just as advertised. On a full charge, they can easily cover several miles without any sign of the battery lagging. The 4-5 hour recharge time is manageable; we just plug them in overnight and they're ready for another full day of adventures.
