  • Great value for the price
Color: Black Style Name: Package 1.5K ( PPC02 with RP 230LBS )
The materials are not super thick for the rack but it works great especially for a home gym. No complaints after their customer service quickly resolved a damaged part. I would definitely recommend to others looking for a home gym.

  • Amazing product wish I knew about this complete setup a long time ago.
Color: Black Style Name: Package 1.5K ( PPC02 with RP 230LBS )
The product came in 8 boxes ahead of schedule via FedEx from the other side of the country. Assembly was easy and straight forward. I love the small foot print and all the features it has. Being able to bench heavy weight at home with the safety bars is amazing. Also the fact it has the lat pull down and pull up bar and bar dips is also just amazing. Assembly took about 3 hours and the instructions were really well put together and easy to follow. They put a lot of attention to detail. They aren't the cheap paper instructions its water proof paper that isn't easily ripped. I had no idea something like this existed its so much safer then just a weight bench and the fact you can do leg exercises with all the other features is just great. I will recommend this product to anyone who wants a real home gym that is a one stop shop with a foot print with maybe a 10x10 foot area of your basement or other room. I purchased the one with 230lbs of metal plates. These are nice because they have all the handle openings and have a smaller foot print. They didn't interfere with the bench press at all like the giant olympic weights would. ... show more

  • Amazon purchase of the year!!!
Color: Black Style Name: Package 1.5K ( PPC03 with RP 230LBS )
I have a gym membership at planet fitness and got sick of waiting around for the “bros” who were constantly hogging up the only two smith machines. I started looking into getting a squat rack for my garage because I’m a working mom of two and can only commit to an hour, three times a week at most for the gym. This includes my drive to and from the gym so when I end up wasting precious “me time” waiting around for the smith machines, I get very frustrated. That’s when I decided to go for it and purchased this set during their Black Friday sale. This here rack has dang near everything I need to get in a full body workout within 45 minutes total!! I’ve had it for a couple of weeks now and I’m absolutely obsessed! I just bought dip attachments (from a different brand) that I will be adding to it as well as additional pegs for more plates storage as I will be ordering more soon. It feels very sturdy expect when I’m jumping up and doing pull ups, that’s when I get a little nervous because it’s making a noise? Im probably just hearing the attachments on the pulley system because it seems stable and my husband says he doesn’t hear it when he is doing chin ups. I’m just paranoid and am probably overthinking it but I still might use the bolts that come with it for extra stability. The customer support has been beyond phenomenal and went ahead and sent me a new barbell because mine showed up with a small dent in it. It’s still 100% usable so now I have two barbells in my set up:) I’m so excited to see how much more my lifts will start to progress now that I have a real squat rack!!! 100% recommended, you will not regret it! ... show more

  • Great all-in-one package with a few minor annoyances
Color: Orange Style Name: Package 1.5K ( PPC02 with RP 230LBS )
Let me start by saying this gym package is a great price for everything you get. It assembles fairly easily, and all the parts/pieces are straightforward so the lacking instructions aren't too much of a hinderance. I was able to assemble this by myself with some creative use of zip ties to temporarily hold pieces in place at one end while I fastened the other end. The instructions aren't so much "lacking" as they are poorly diagramed. Some pieces aren't shown consistently in some pictures, and the drawings typically show the entire rack at a very small scale instead of showing just the areas you're working on, so it can be hard to see what goes where. But like I said, it's mostly logical and consistent where everything goes, so it wasn't too bad. There are a few little annoyances I've found with this rack, however. First and foremost, the weight holders are placed far too close to the rear posts of the cage. This is shown in one picture - you can see that even with a 35lb plate on the barbell, it overlaps the single 25lb weight on the upper storage peg. Because of this, you're unable to keep more than one or two plates on that top peg, otherwise you wouldn't be able to rack the barbell when benching. Second, the included bench can't be placed anywhere inside the rack when doing inclined bench press because the legs are too long. I have tried orienting the bench both directions with the barbell on both the front and rear posts, but because of the placement of the bottom cross bar in the rear of the rack, the bench cannot slide far enough forward or backwards to perform this lift. This means I have to rack the barbell on the front of the cage, rendering the safety bars useless. The entire reason I have this cage is so I can lift safely by myself without a spotter, but there will be a few lifts where this just isn't possible. It's also annoying to move the barbell from the inside of the cage to the outside front since it's obviously much wider than the cage posts. Third, the foot plate at the bottom of the cable assembly is very narrow. I usually keep my feet about shoulder-width apart when doing cable rows, but this plate is too small for that. It's not comfortable, but it's not a deal-breaker. Lastly, the cable assembly could use some better-quality parts. Specifically the plastic inserts which go between the sliding weight-holding assembly and the rail it moves on. They are there to reduce friction between the metal parts, but they fall off very easily. I added some lubricant to make sure things slide smoothly, which helps, but it was a bit disappointing to see this was the cheapest part on the entire rack. Again, not a deal-breaker, but this was something I'd expect to see on a much cheaper cage. The last point I'll make isn't so much a complaint, but more of an observation. The included bench in this kit doesn't have wheels, so moving it is just a bit more difficult than I'd prefer, but it's light enough that it doesn't really matter. I'm also not a huge fan of the adjustment knob, since you have to completely unscrew it, then pull it out to adjust the bench, then screw it back in. Something that has a spring-loaded pull/push mechanism would've been nicer in my opinion. All in all, I don't think this cage/rack can be beaten by anything in the same price range. It looks great, feels solid, and accomplishes about 95% of what the average home gym user needs. It comes with a ton of accessories and parts, and is definitely a great foundation for anybody looking to build their own home gym. I would just plan on getting a separate rack for holding weight plates and probably skip installing the top pegs on this rack since they're basically useless, but other than that, it's a great purchase. ... show more

  • Works great
Color: Black Style Name: Package 1.2K ( PPC03 with RP 140LBS )
Works great, not difficult to assemble either. Fedex damaged the box and I was missing a critical piece for the pulleys to work and the company was super quick to send me another even though it wasn't their fault. Everything works great the pulleys are smooth and is perfect for a home gym!

  • Great value, great price, sturdy build
Color: Orange Style Name: Package 1.6K ( PPC02 with BP 230LBS )
Bought it for my son, he uses it daily. Like other reviews some what difficult to do some things, but it's not impossible. May need to move bench more than what you are used too. Found myself getting back into working out seriously at 45 years old because it was easy to use. Building it was easy too, but I am a man of many talents but not a master in one. That being said I actually had my son (15years old) put it together, and I was more moral support with little guidance. Think anyone can put it together, just make sure you know where the washer's go. ... show more
