This thing is very well made. Sturdy, Heavy, and Smooth. The delivery driver just laid the box on the sidewalk in front of my house and left it there. I feel sorry for the person that had to deliver it, but it arrived well packed and in good shape. Make sure you have a dolly or plan to unpack it where it's left. The unit comes in 3 main pieces, left and right uprights and the hooked bar. It goes together very easy. It also includes the two safety bar stops, but those are not something you would use with the smith attachment itself. The bar glides on the uprights and it feels like they use ball bearings and came well oiled. Full disclosure, I bought this to go on a competitor's squat rack. Pay attention to the measurements in the add because my cage was exactly one vertical upright too wide and I hadn't paid attention and didn't figure out my mistake until I went to mount the bar. So, I had to modify my cage which was easy enough, but not something I'd planned on doing. ... show more

Great value for the money,works well.Was easy to assemble. The bar is not a regulation 7' Olympic bar, maybe 6' instead, which is why it is generally $500 less expensive than a bigger unit found in most gyms.

Updated my review. The seller was very communicative and helped me the missing pieces in a timely manner. I appreciate them keeping in touch with me through the process. Opened it up and was missing pieces for step 1. Waited a week and a half for the pieces to come in and the set is missing pieces on the 3rd step of putting it together. at a certain point the machine would not come together because the pull up bar acts as a critical piece that holds it together, and it was bent where it would not fit together. I had to take a hammer and bang it into shape for it to fit. I also had to do that for one of the smith attachments to make it fit. In the end I’m hoping my incident is not typical because the machine is nice. But it has been an ordeal to get all the parts. And to have to fix them as I put it together. ... show more

Ordered the rack and smith combo, thought I could add on the lat pull-down later but turns out they don’t sell separately. If you want this option order it up front as a combo package otherwise you’ll need to find another solution.
