When I received the order, the package was torn open but the interior packaging was intact. I was able to assemble the product with little difficulty, but there were several issues that could trip up a less-experienced assembler. First, the product shipped is not exactly pictured. In fact, it varies from the picture on the front page of the assembly instructions, and the diagram on the inside of the instructions is different from the picture on the outside. The differences are not great, but for example the diagram shows the axle behind the cross brace, while the photo, and in fact the product, has the axle forward of the brace. The picture and diagram shows the product with hand grips, but none were supplied. Instead, the product shipped with plugs that are hammered into place at the ends of the tubes. There is nothing in the instructions to tell you about this - you just have to figure it out. There are small black feet on the bottom that are not mentioned at all in the instructions, and the diagram does not show them. The photo has one foot in the center, but the product ships with two feet and there are two predrilled holes for the feet in the U-Tube piece on the bottom. But since it doesn't mention the feet, I didn't realize that there was an up and down orientation of the U-Tube, and had to disassemble it and turn it over when I discovered the feet. The unit was missing six axle washers, but I was able to substitute them from some I had already. So the assembly instructions were incomplete and in some cases misleading. Still, the product seems to be well suited for its purpose and worth the hassle.

If it weren’t for missing nuts and locking washers I would have given it 5 star review. The instructions are not the best I did get it assembled. TGF Home Depot.

It works fine, but it came without half of the bolts and nuts needed, included bolts and nuts far to small for the carrier. Also the pipe plugs were missing and the directions were just OK. I would have given it 5 stars if it came complete....but there is no excuse for filling a bag with random parts instead of the right parts

biggest problem with 85 lb stand is you cant raise the motor when it is on it...and usually you'll need to... It hits the upper crossmember, bad design...will remove upper cross bar, hope it stil stays sturdy. missing a few wheel washers but were not moving 125 HP outboards here...

First there were missing bolts and the directions were pathetic at best. I was able to figure it out as well as use bolts that I had on hand to make it work so I didn't return it which is the only reason I gave it two stars as if does what it's supposed to do...
