Almost did not purchase these due to all the bad reviews on the adhesive not sticking but I have had no problems at all and they seem to be giving out just the right amount of nicotine. Let’s just start with this. I don’t smoke… I vape. And I vape A LOT. I have smoked in the past, quit 19 years ago and then started again but it was so gross to me I started vaping. Vaping became so easy for me to do because you can literally Vape inside or outside, in the car, etc. I would Vape so much I would walk around the house with it and had it in my hand or pocket at all times. It was a major problem. My husband and I are trying to have a baby and the doctor told me I have to completely cut out all nicotine as it does affect the blood flow etc, regardless if it’s cigarette smoke or Vaping. I had been wanting to quit for a while so I got these Rite Aide nicotine patches. I was a little hesitant because of people complaining about adhesion and irritation. First, let me tell you that I have the most sensitive skin there is and I had absolutely no irritation whatsoever. I wore it on the top of my back / shoulder. I would just wipe the area with a little alcohol before. I did not experience any irritation at all. I would switch from the left side then to the right side every other day. As for the adhesion, I would shower with this patch on twice a day, morning and night, and not one time, not once, did it ever unstick. So I’m really not sure why other people were complaining about it. Maybe they have really oily skin and they were not wiping it with alcohol really quick before hand. Now as for the cravings… I did Vape occasionally throughout the day the first 3 or 4 days… but I think that was more of an oral fixation kind of deal as I was so used to the actual putting something up to my mouth and inhaling it kind of thing. I am on day 11 and I have not vaped in 3 days. Not one puff. If I feel the urge to Vape, I just take a deep breath and exhale and I’m good. This definitely has helped me quit vaping and I’m going to buy the Step 2 today. Great for the price. Def try it. Good luck!

I Haven’t had a cigarette in 68 days, is that right? Yep. I only used nicotine patches to stop smoking and I didn’t think that was really possible. I went through so many patches at first— they would constantly fall off, or I would have to replace it after working out or showering. You don’t have to make that same mistake! Just buy some soft body tape and cover the patch with a few small strips of the tape when you put it on, and the patch stays in place. I could take the patch off when I was working out or showering and put it back on afterwards with new strips of tape. The adhesive on ALL of the patches equally sucks (brand name or not)! You can stop smoking and the patch helps A LOT. But it sucked really bad at first, then it got better, then it got worse again, then I was rethinking every decision I’ve ever made in my life, and before you know it it’s been 15 days without a cigarette, then 30 days… get after it

This product is absolutely phenomenal!!! I started to notice a decrease in craving within hours!! A couple things to keep in mind. Don’t ever smoke when ur on the patch. It is dangerous and if you smoke weed like I do, u do have more cravings when high. I’m only a before bed smoker so I can deal with but not sure how it’ll effect someone who smokes more frequently. And it actually makes u feel good some how and u don’t think about it as much. Last thing, it did stick really well. I even took a shower with it on and it didn’t fall. That’s my experience

To get the best stick I make sure to clean my arm with a washcloth while bathing and then before I put the patch on I wipe the spot on my arm with alcohol to remove any oil or sweat. This is how I get a good stick. I do get a little more irritation from the nicotine I think but it is a fair trade. The price is very good for this brand, the clear patches cost a lot more and also irritate my skin. All and all it's not as irritating as smoking! I think I need an additional willpower patch to go along with this...
