I am 5'2" 123 pounds and am usually a medium or between small and medium. I carry my weight in my hips and thighs so I size up for tights and got a size large. These are very fitted and I probably should have gone for XL. The waistband is slightly tight and it takes a lot of settling to squeeze these over my thighs and glutes. Once on they look great. I am pale and these looks reasonably like sheer tights--someone with a darker skin tone might not get a convincing sheer look. They are very thick and I expect they would keep me quite warm. Size up, maybe even two sizes.

Context for my purchase: The area I live in is pretty chilly for most of the year, and a typical pair of sheer tights aren't enough to make wearing dresses possible for me. I bought these to wear under various pairs of decorative black tights that I already own. I'm 5'7", 135 lbs, I wear a 27 in pants and I ordered the Fleece Footed Beige in Medium, which is my usual size. These are super comfortable to wear and kept me warm even when I was wearing a dress in rainy, 30 degree (Fahrenheit) weather. If they were any tighter I might've been unhappy, but as it is they're slimming and feel comfortably snug- I spent all night wearing them at a party and I didn't need to adjust them or anything. The color is a bit peachy compared to my skin tone, but underneath sheer black tights they looked totally fine. They're not sheer AT ALL, I was able to wear black underwear with them and you absolutely couldn't tell. I'm definitely going to be ordering another pair of these in the "Fake Translucent" color so I can get rid of my plain black tights.

The tights I was meant to have! They are nice and thick but with plenty of stretch. But the biggest thing is I was warm as a bug in a rug (what a weird saying - but it’s true) They fit to size. I would be giving a five-star review because the tights feel great, don't run easily or at all, but the way the tights are sewn around the tummy/butt/crotch area is way off. The seams for the tights run up one hip and is not asymmetrical on the other side. My tights would start to slip even when standing still. I danced for over 25 years, so the tights feel JUST like a Capezio dance recital tight, but without the shine, and they look great, and even 'thick' enough to cover the tattoo on my foot that wraps around my ankle. The support throughout the tummy and crotch area is not well sewn/or correctly sewn.

They seem like they'd be quite warm and the inside is very soft, they also seem to be made pretty decent. But the sizes are not right, I ordered a medium and it was just a little tight so I ordered a large and they were the exact same size. Back to my quest of finding warm tights I guess.

kept me warm during a nor’easter! when paired with another pair of thermals and jeans i was able to be outside in 30F + wind for a while with no problem. definitely more orange than the photo, but not noticeable if you put black tights or layer
